Are they not refunding you ? Pretty sure that's what you said , Im confused how them giving you a refund equates to stealing your money.

Listen , I'm not saying you didn't have a terrible experience. I'm not saying you're not entitled to have a poor opinion of them. However , if the tone of your post is any indication at all of the tone of your correspondence with them then I can see why they would wish to issue a refund as the only solution.

If they asked for your address that would seem to mean they're mailing you a refund? A friend in California just mailed something to me in BC. I can drive to where he lives in about 18 hours. Between usps and canada post it took nearly 3 weeks for it to make it to me.

Once again , I agree that you've had a bad experience but maybe you're jumping to conclusions when saying they stole your money.

I'm Canadian , I have no choice but to be understanding and patient lol. Even after your story this morning I still voluntarily paid the balance of my order I made this week. The dealings I've had with them up till this point have been nothing but pleasant. If I need to wait 4-8 weeks for it to ship I'm ok with that.

Yeah, as much as I love my mechs I can see myself going that way too. I had nothing against my Provari but mech mods ended up providing a better vape. If I can vape sub ohm coils at high watts and have it be regulated I can see myself ditching mechs. Supermax is first on the list, then probably an SX350 dual 18650 box next.

Yep, J-wraps now available for Max, going to have to get at least one wrap. Like the blue carbon fiber, but wish John hooked up with vapor skinz too, would love to have a TARDIS Max. If any box mod is worthy of the Doctor, its Max. :D Hope fully my rebuild and upgrade on 006 will be quick. Sent Max back to Calgary Tuesday. At least all my 0.4 builds still vape quite well in the low 40's. :D

edit: well, just did a better search on Jwraps, and they now have some new designs, including the Tardis wrap.!!! So ordered a Tardis and a Blue flame Skull wrap :D Tardis on the Cana mod looks pretty sharp, and the Blue Flaming Skull wrap was just to pretty to pass up  !!!

I miss 006, everyday. He should be in Canada by now. Ahh, the wait begins once again.

Kind of funny, when Max's battery runs out, always say, Max offline.!! Plug it in usb, state Maximizing! green light goes out, Max Online.:D:vapor:

Although, with SuperMax Down, I did get the Big Kayfun, Mutant Copper and the I Gingantor, or something like that, and a couple 26650 drippers. Got to go below 0.3 to get what Max can do with a 0.4 :D

From what I read they stated they would send a refund nearly a month ago and have not done it yet. Unless these guys are mailing back cash, money travels electronically pretty quickly. My guess is that they took the money electronically. They should return it the same way.

I'm a critical thinker, I rarely jump on bandwagons and try to think things through for myself. Some things seem off here. I don't understand the willingness to blindly support a vendor without being a party to the exchange. Particularly when nobody personally knows any of the players involved. It happens a lot here and I'd be damned if I'd offer blind support to a stranger. That is reserved for my family, friends and those who have earned my respect.

I personally have no dog in this fight but it seems the company should have been able to provide a refund within a very short period of time no matter what. I have no idea if this is a situation of the company making an example of this person for being rude or if it's just for kicks. If so, that's about as unprofessional as it gets.

Why would A.V. need to ask for the address when they would have already had to have a delivery address to take the order? Did they toss out the order information once they decided they didn't want this person as a customer? And if so wouldn't that imply they had no intention of either shipping a product OR granting a refund?

What I know having worked in business over the years is it's best to handle stuff like this quickly and preferably silently. Don't get stuck in some sort of measuring test over who's got the bigger/better #$%! and get things done. In the end it costs the company more trouble than it did the consumer who is inconvenienced for a bit, maybe out some money. But for the company, for every person who jumps on the defense bandwagon there are those who decide to go elsewhere because of the drama of it all. I'm likely to be one who goes elsewhere. Just sayin'

Sorry to barge in like this.

I am relativly new here at ECF. I have never vaped at more than 15W and at less than 1.2 ohm. This thread has been interesting to say the least. You guys/gals seem to be so taken by your hobbies/vaping and are on the hedge, ( not being judgemental).

I would really appreciate if one of you sub ohmers would take a few minutes, educate me and explain the pleasures of sub ohming.

Thanks in advance

Hey Tang, sub ohm vaping is high watt vaping. In order to vape at high watts, one must be able to have adequate alir and wicking. Basically one gets more vape, more flavor, more nic...

Vape is progressive. To get to the sub ohm zone, one must be competent at building, have the proper tools and skills, to safely vape at these levels. Takes practice and patience to get there. It you are happy with the level you are vaping at, then recommend not to sub ohm, will save lots of money by not going donw this path.!!

But heck, what's the fun in that???
