"
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." ..
This is the place I want to re-enter the ECF fray - after
three years off.
First up, good on
@Dizzo and others for this and the other thread. Well played.
Now, my frustration is that even most of ~these~ vendors are doing a poor job of keeping it simple and transparent. Some nicquids covered, some not, some pages inconsistent, etc. For example the Max VG line of NicVape is excluded on their NicTrace page (at least in explanation), Nude Nicotine infers diketone-free without showing the results of that specifically but offering tests and showing everything else (along w/ being one of the labs The Clean Vape uses as reference), etc. etc.
So I was thinking if we had to break the available information down by specific juice, what would the information desired for each one?
Obviously:
- Name, product link
- Vendor, site link
- Proof of testing, link
- Category (e.g. Fruit, Tobacco, etc.)
Slightly less obvious:
- Breakdown by specific diketone concern?
- Include butyric acid?
- Testing lab?
- PG/VG ratio?
- Last test / ongoing tests?
- # of clearly tested nicquids per vendor (the idea presuming anything NOT included is untested as of that update)
Even less obvious:
- Link(s) to
reviews on ECF
- Link(s) to all other reviews
Etc.
So the question is what is the minimum useful breakdown - what is the 'sweet spot' - and what is comprehensive to approaching overkill?
The end-state being a searchable / sortable listing for specifically the 'presumed safest' nicquids on the market specific to product and not just vendor. Link to current news covered on ECF related .. yada yada.
It can take a lot of effort to bootstrap something like this and then usability becomes a concern. Thoughts? -Mags
