What percentage did you mix? I put it away as I hardly got any flavor out of it. Ordered from my favorite RTSVapes.com.

I mixed it at 6% and was tasting it after a 30 min bath n shake. Got it from rts as well. As soon as I opened the vial, I smelled that distinctive Halo "twinge" (the only way I can describe that taste) and it a carries through to the vape. I know there was a recent thread asking for Halo clones; I might post this in there because I'd love to see if anyone else tastes the same thing :)

This thread has been so helpful to me, so far. Thanks, to everyone that contributed.

Ordered from RTS: HS Indian, RY1, and Tab Blend (plus other non HS stuff). Mixed each at ~2.8%, 3.5%, and 5.0% in 60/40 (pg/vg) without nic. and steeped for 7 days (sampled) then steeped another 7 days (sampled again).

I sampled on a 510 bridgeless atty (1.8ohms at 3.7v = ~7.6w)

My background for comparison: Smoker for 25 plus years (PAD), quit last halloween. I prefer tobacco flavors with minimal extras like vanilla, nutty, etc. though I do welcome them if they are subtle enough.

My opinion of these flavors: At 5% the flavors are quite strong to me. I feel like I'm tasting a nutty component with the RY1. The Tab blend and Indian I can't do at 5% and only barely tolerable at 2.8% so I took them down to ~2.2%. Not that the taste is bad, mind you. Rather, the taste is just so strong.

Waiting another week for steep then will sample again, but overall I'm not thrilled about these particular flavors. But what's more important is how well done those flavors are! I can tell I just need to keep playing around until I find figure it out. I'm looking forward to trying others HS flavors. I'm especially enthusiastic about delving into the realm of fruity and other flavors, having only been trying tobaccos until now.

Side note: I've heard more than one person describe the HS Indian as comparable to FA Shade. I currently vape FA shade and did not taste any resemblance at all. Was kinda' hoping I'd like the Indian, though. Biggest surprise was how I didn't care for the RY1. I was really expecting to love it as much as everyone else apparently does. Maybe a different percentage? I can't see this tasting anything else but stronger than it is at 5%, for example, so I'm hesitant to even bother.

I'll report back when I sample them at ~2.2%.

Ry1 and Indian dont do it for me either. I do like tab.. Juicy peach is very good.. Forgot to mention T5 is very good also. I like tobaccos and very little fruits. The T5 has more of a peanutty thing going on. The RY1 to me had some kind of nutty tone but its one I personally don't care for.

Maybe the stronger more exotic or flavored tobaccos are not your bag and prefer the more ashy taste of the american cigarette. In that case I would recommend the USA red or the smooth starting at 3%.

@ pDub

A bridgeless atty will give you maximum flavor. The ry1 @ 2-3% should be better for you. You'll be able to test fairly quickly if you cut down the stronger steeped mixes and shake it up good. What is your adv atty? Because the dripping atty is going have a much stronger flavor than say a protank. How are you measuring your percentages? What type of tobacco flavor are you going for?

I find the red to be pretty strong so you probably will too. 2.5% is plenty for me and had an ashy Marlboro red sensation. You may be interested in Churchill (good w/ hint of soft fruit), hotel(tobac), smooth(light), gold & silver(pruney bite), desert ship(good, ap taste, harvest time around corn fields), highway(555, kind of nutty), ry3(signature hangsen bite, slight nutty maybe hint of Carmel), USA mix (very popular, signature hangsen tobacco taste)

Arabic has taken over my rotation. Its a great strong taste with excellent TH @ 3%

You may want to look here to pick some that sound good to you Page 10:premium Tobacco for Sale,Buy Tobacco Online - Hangsen Holding Co.,Ltd

Don't be afraid to go 1.5-2.5% if that suits you.. Starting at 3% would probably be good. One of the biggest proponents of the ry1 uses it around 2.1% I think... maybe as low as 1.5

An update on my experience with Hangsen's Gold & Silver. Now vaping these flavors on a J-tank with 510 Boge carto on Ego Twist at 4 volts. A couple of months ago I had this flavor in my RTSVapes order and was looking forward to it for it's sweet B&H flavor. My all day vapes such as Arabic, Desert Ship, Deluxe mix range from 5-7% and wanted a B&H flavor to occasionally rest those flavors. When I mixed the flavor at 5 and 7% I picked up very little flavor. Reminded me of a very very weak Hangsen Deluxe with a barely detectable fruity tone and no tobacco. I took it up to 10% and it was mild enough that after third or fourth vape the flavor dwindled to nothing on my taste buds. I put it away knowing I wouldn't be using that flavor whatever it was supposed to be.

Pulled it out this evening and mixed 10ml at 15% and the great flavor is there! Wow! This is the closest I've had to a B&H flavor with a little fruity ashtray and cig-like. Damn good. Most forum users here have found up to 7% on tobaccos to be a good range. Finding it amazing that my tobacco recipes stay in that 5-7% and are pretty loud flavors but this one at 15% finally came through for me. All my other tobaccos have comfortably remained below 7% for my taste but this Gold & Silver shines for me at this high percentage.

Another member found this to be great under 5% and another around 7% steeped for a few months. The way I vape these flavors today is mix my own 30ml bottles and when halfway down mix and add another 20ml batch. Will make a 25ml bottle in the morning and steep a week.

Glad I did'n't throw it away as I was determined to do.

I'm having a hard time liking the g&s flavor even though I liked it when I first started vaping when I bought the premade. I have it mixed at 3% and it's ok I thought 5% was too strong of the fruity/ pruney flavor I wonder if I have a vial that's off on the flavor.

I'm vaping the Arabic mostly, 3% is good and plenty strong for me. It has killed all the other flavors I have, for now. What flavors have you guys tried that have the strength and punch of the Arabic?

I see rts has the hotel now, I used to like it. Going to get some next order.

I have been playing with Hangsen tobacco flavors. I came up with some great tasting mixes:

75pg 25vg 15mg/ml nic: 8% Hangsen Turkish, 1% EM, 1 drop Vape Wizard per 10ml -This is excellent to put menthol into.

75pg 25vg 15mg/ml nic: 7% Hangsen RY1, 2% Tobacco Absolute mix, 1% EM, i drop VW per 10 ml - Also excellent to put menthol into.

And this one comes close to Halo Prime 15 to me:

75pg 25vg 15mg/ml nic: 8% Hangsen Highway, 1% Tobacco Absolute mix, 1% AP, 1% trimethyl pryrizine, .5% tetramethyl pryrizine, .5% FA cocoa, 1% EM...... it tastes very close to Prime {to me} and I do not wish to put menthol into this one. Lots of nuttiness!

It is very rewarding to come up with something good once in a while! :)
