And this one comes close to Halo Prime 15 to me:

75pg 25vg 15mg/ml nic: 8% Hangsen Highway, 1% tobacco Absolute mix, 1% AP, 1% trimethyl pryrizine, .5% tetramethyl pryrizine, .5% FA cocoa, 1% EM...... it tastes very close to Prime {to me} and I do not wish to put menthol into this one. Lots of nuttiness!

Seems fimilure!! :) So were did you get that convoluted recipe from Wink Wink :):D

Yes, it was primarily you, Danny! This is a version of something that is deep within the Halo clone mega-thread as well as in this thread. I have had these "other" flavor molecules for some time now. You and few others have mentioned tri-.... and tetra-.... in recipes. Good stuff! I am trying to learn as much as I can regarding flavor additives. :)

I am not an expert by any means, but everyone in here says to start low and work your way up. Some say that 3% is more than enough but others go as high as 15%. {!} - It seems that most end up between 5 and 8 percent that I have seen. What tastes great to you is all that matters. Have fun and good luck! :)

Go easy on those 2 because adding to much can turn in into something totally off. There used as very light accented top notes to bring out that slightly musty fruit and chocolate note. But to much will almost sour it. I know when I was playing with it I found .5% of each about right.

It's been a long time since I made that formula. My most recent was 7% highway, 1% AP and 3% hangsen chocolate cream. Not prime but really really good. My next attempt is going to be substituting the Hangsen chocolate cream for the hangsen chocolate caramel peanut. Ive been vaping that on it's own and got hooked on it and I think that will make a killer 555 type mix at 3 - 4%.

I'm starting to really like Flue Cured. I had mixed a small bottle a while back as a test. It was nice but a bit light on flavor so I kinda forgot about it. I mixed a bigger bottle a few weeks ago @ 8% and just broke it out yesterday. It's really good. It's definitely on the light side of tobacco flavors but it's so smooth and subtle with a touch of sweetness. A good analogy would be like light roast coffee compared to dark roast. I would say highway is more of a dark roast and flue cured is an easy going light roast.

@ pDub

A bridgeless atty will give you maximum flavor. The ry1 @ 2-3% should be better for you. You'll be able to test fairly quickly if you cut down the stronger steeped mixes and shake it up good. What is your adv atty? Because the dripping atty is going have a much stronger flavor than say a protank. How are you measuring your percentages? What type of tobacco flavor are you going for?

I find the red to be pretty strong so you probably will too. 2.5% is plenty for me and had an ashy Marlboro red sensation. You may be interested in Churchill (good w/ hint of soft fruit), hotel(tobac), smooth(light), gold & silver(pruney bite), desert ship(good, ap taste, harvest time around corn fields), highway(555, kind of nutty), ry3(signature hangsen bite, slight nutty maybe hint of Carmel), USA mix (very popular, signature hangsen tobacco taste)

Arabic has taken over my rotation. Its a great strong taste with excellent TH @ 3%

You may want to look here to pick some that sound good to you Page 10:premium Tobacco for Sale,Buy Tobacco Online - Hangsen Holding Co.,Ltd

Don't be afraid to go 1.5-2.5% if that suits you.. Starting at 3% would probably be good. One of the biggest proponents of the ry1 uses it around 2.1% I think... maybe as low as 1.5

Very helpful, thanks!! I use an EVOD or T3S for ADV and I did notice, as you say, the dripping atty enhances flavor. I am definitely being very careful with measuring percentages. As for your question regarding what tobacco I'm aiming for (bear with me I'll get to the point)

...when I first switched from analogs to ecigs I had a difficult time finding a flavor I halfway liked. Eventually, I found a local B&M store that has a flavor he calls "Shade." I enjoyed this flavor very much and it has been my ADV for the last several months. After hours of reading how everyone else describes FA shade I decided to buy my own concentrates, etc and give it a try. I got several Hangsen flavors as mentioned in my previous post, but I also picked up some FA Shade. I played with various percentages of Shade from 1.8 to 3.0 with zero additives other than nicotine. I also tried 70/30, 60/40, and 50/50 (pg/vg).

...the results? I detect a similarity to what I buy from the B&M, but I can't seem to get close enough for an ADV. I'm not getting as much sweet and there is some sort of top note that's kinda of a musty (hard to describe) flavor. I tried adding ACV later only to find it only muted the flavors (as others have also observed), but overall it's still off the mark.

So that's the tobacco flavor I'm going for more or less; something not terribly sweet or nutty or bakery, etc, but some sweet is welcome, with a nice presence of tobacco and, in the case of the Shade, maybe a peppery nose. I'd settle for a plain enough tobacco flavor. I'm not a huge fan of the ashy flavors like from Red, but I'm open to a little if it makes for a nice vape.

Also, after I diluted the Hangsen flavors I mentioned in my previous post (RY1, Indian, Tab Blend) to ~2%, all I tasted was the same thing I tasted at 2.8 and 3.5 percent, but just less noticeable.

Currently, I'm focused on just finding an ADV that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for at a local B&M.

At this point, I'm wondering if the concentrates I bought from RTS is, in fact, different from what I might get from ECX. I hear so many describing FA Shade exactly how I taste in this B&M juice so my suspicions are somewhat well founded, no?

And if anyone has any recommendations to buying from ECX vs RTS for flavorings please comment.

And if anyone wants to offer suggestions on this FA shade dilemma please do so. Forgive me for blatantly requesting to go off thread topic. I'm a desperate man.

Many of us using H tobaccos prefer 6-7% on many of the flavors. My Gold & Silver went to 15% and my Highway I like at 10%. So it may be that 1-3% is too low for the flavor you seek. Try raising percentage and test.

Hey guys, sorry if I'm not asking this in the right thread but I need clarification regarding some Hangsen premixed products I just received.

I ordered Turkish Blend to try out, but I received a bottle that was labeled "TU Tobacco." Did a search on Google and turns out it's also called "Turbosmog."

Did the vendor send me the wrong liquid? Probably will enjoy it still, but just wondering if he messed up the order.

Yes HS do have TU tobacco as well as Turkish Blended. So just call them for the mix up.
