For those liking Arabic and Dexluxe as I do, last night I mixed the two and WHAMO! I'm now getting the best of both worlds. Seemed every time I vaped the Arabic I longed for the sweeter and plum of Deluxe. At one point I had Arabic in one tank and Dexluxe in another as my alternating ADV. Apparently I'm a little slow on bright ideas but after months of keeping flavors separate, finally wondered what the two together might taste like.

In the future I'll continue to mix the two flavors separately. Arabic 9.5% in 50/50 24mg nic base and Deluxe 8.5% in 50/50 24mg nic base.

I mix half Arabic and half Deluxe into new newly labled ARADELUXE. Highly recommended!

tdinello, are you sure they went 'flat' as opposed to mixed at weak percentage? How old are the mixes? What flavors and percentages did you use?

The mix is about a year old. Bought flavorings from VZ and they were rather dark. From what I have read I will assume they were old to begin with. The total flavoring was 5% in 24mg 70PG/30VG. The Mix included 1/2 HS Virginia, 1/4 HS T5 and 1/4 HS RY4.

If you bought from vaping Zone there is a good chance the flavoring was too old. I had a similar experience.

I love Deluxe but what is the Arabic like?

I wish I could describe it for you.. But it's got a great th, kind of a spice kick. Reminds me of the smell of a certain type of a well cured medical herb. It quickly became my favorite, I only need 3-4% max. (Edit: my previous descriptions in this thread included an earthy note as well)

Didn't try deluxe yet but i like to mix vz black cigar and hs arabic together, at about 1.3% bc and 3%at. It's very yummy and kinda surprisin. chocolaty, earthy and salty.

I can't seem to fin 555 in stock with the vendors I'm familiar with. Anyone know of a vendor with this flavor in stock?
Does Hangsen come in larger size bottles than 10ml? I am liking my first impressions of the Golden VI.

You'll want the highway, rts vapes has up to 120ml Hangsen Premium Flavors
Assuming you mean flavor concentrate for diy.

Never DIYed before, just placed my first order this moring and still trying to figure this out. Maybe one of you can help.

Let's start simple: I currently vape Hangsen Desert Ship in 18mg. If I want to replicate DIY do I just need the Hangsen Desert Ship (Desert Ship Concentrated Hangsen Flavor ) plus PG/VG base plus my 100mg Nic juice?

Also would love to know the cost break down on this as I know I pay maybe $4.50 for a 10ml bottle I think.

I would use:
Nic base (100mg) 120ml - $15.99
PG base 250ml - $5.49
VG base ? still need to order or buy from Walmart I guess
Hangsen Desert Ship Concentrate - $5.99

What would my cost per bottle be DIY vs. what I could buy it for premixed?

If you lack experience and specific need, I'd suggest a nic base under 50mg/ml. Costs for higher concentrations vary by only pennies per litter and are more than offset by the extra precautions and diligence needed.

Are you including costs for equipment (i.e. syringes, beakers, scales), bottles and labor? You'll have enough nic for ~670 ml and pg for ~300 ml. And how much DS did you get? You'll need 53ml of DS concentrate (assuming 8% mix) to use all of your nic.

Several of the online calculators will provide a cost/ml if you'll plug in your purchase costs. And I would suggest you consider downmixing nic to 50mg/ml to reduce your stress going forward. Good luck.

Most of the vids I have watched people have just mixed their juices right into bottles and have used Nic juice (every one I have watched used 100mg), VG, PG, and flavoring. That was it.

Not trying to oversimplify this in any way. I have no doubt it can become a mad science, I'm just trying to figure out how to order the base ingredients plus use pre-mixed or base flavorings to make my own ejuice to make this more cost effective.

DS = Desert Ship. You'll also find vids on explosives, grenade launchers, etc. but being in a vid doesn't necessarily mean well advised. Be sure to read the stickies at the top of this forum. And check Dannyv45 and Hoosier's blogs for good introductory DIY, materials, etc. Cheers.

Ah, thank you. I'm still researching like crazy and will do my best not to do anything stupid. I'm really trying to start at a crawl pace with this so thought something like the Desert Ship, which I know I like, would be a good place.

Went through a calculator and looks l would be mixing a 10ml bottle for under $1 vs. $4.50-$5.50 premixed which would be great.

Hangsen tobaccos are among the best and DS is very good. I also really enjoy Hangsen's Arabic and Virginia. Another favorite is RY4-Double by The Flavor Apprentice which is a tobacco, caramel and vanilla mix. Enjoy!

100mg NIC needs to be diluted so very simply to create a 50/50 base (Nice with desert ship)

24% 100mg nic + 50%VG + 19%PG will give you a 24mg base figuring in 7% pg flavoring

18% 100mg nic + 50%VG + 25%PG will give you a 18mg base figuring in 7% pg flavoring

12% 100mg nic + 50%VG + 31% PG will give you a 12mg base figuring in 7% pg flavoring

6% 100mg nic + 50%VG + 37% PG will give you a 6mg base figuring in 7% pg flavoring

If 7% flavoring is to strong for you reducing it to 5% won't effect the NIC content much. Also make small 5 or 10 ml test batches then try it and if it's ok then make the amount you want. This way you don't waste much materal. Don't adjust flavoring amount until you've let it properly steep.

So pick your final MG vaping strength from above add 7% desert ship and there you have it.
I also find 5 - 7% works very well for other hangsen tobacco flavorings.

You'll need to let it steep for 2 -3 weeks.

If your going to get into DYI I suggest you do some reading first but the above will get you going with a vape in the mean time.

Don't start with 100mg! It is no joke. I recommend 36mg cut it 50% you have 18. If you want 50/50 pg vg get 250ml pg or vg nic base and 250ml of pg or vg. Wizard labs nic is better than rts IMO. I do ds at 5%. If you mix at 3.2% or 1ml/30ml you get 10 - 30 ml bottles finished. If you go 6.69% flavor 2nl/30ml a 10ml bottle with give you 5 - 30ml bottles finished
