Another buyhangsen.com update,

My order arrived lightning fast. I ordered on friday and received it on saterday. Now this won't be typical of most orders as I live in the same state that it ships from. But what really impressed me was I ordered it at 2:30PM and had a notification that it shipped and a tracking number 40 minutes later.

The bottles are as stated on the website original packaged hangsen products and not rebottled. Each bottle comes shrink wrapped, dated and has a very handy metal needle tip dripper.

I opened a few flavorings and the sent is fresh and potent.

I mixed some churchill as I had some churchill from ECX and decided this would make a good side by side comparison. The first thing I noticed was the flavoring was lighter in color then the ECX flavoring and the sent was far more potent. I mixed at my ususal 7% and found it far stronger then ECX when first mixed so this tells me that ECX was either diluted or old stock. I think 5% may be better for this but I'll deside after it steeps.

So folks this stuff is the real deal and not some old cheap watered down imitation. So my final recommendation is buy with confidence these guys are the real deal.

Now I really, really wish I had this information before my ECX order. I would like some REAL Hangsen.

I've waited to get on this thread, why is the HS so good lol! I have some 555/highway from FT and it is so good just got more bottles. Would like to find a source that was a tiny bit faster in the US. I tried the Deluxe tobacco flavor from RTS and it was good, milder than the 555. I was mostly cutting flavors with VG as some are strong for me (typically non-tobacco flavors are strong, or ones I bought were). Does anyone care to suggest what flavors are similar to 555 I should try? To me 555 seems to have a great tobac taste and a minor honey/bread flavor added to it. Also had some Marlboro flavor from FT that was stronger even more gritty, but not sure it was HS they seem to have an unlabelled line. FT running 3-4 weeks delivery and I'd like to make some diy anyway, but I see HS has many flavors....I'd like to stick with ones somewhat similar to 555 and not really liking anything strong caramel for some reason (did not like tribeca). Thanks for any suggestions!

I tried another NET and its not quite as good.

The HS juice from FT is fully labelled and clear. The Deluxe flavor from RTS was brown, made the 95%VG/H2O a little brown at about 10% I used. Different names used on HS is a little confusing.

I did not think to look at strengths as I don't buy premixed. Best to just e-mail them and ask.

http://www.buyhangsen.com/contact-us/

They are very quick to respond. I got a sample of there strawberry with my order and added some NIC to it to bring it to 18mg and was very pleased with the results so if 0mg is all they have then adding your own NIC to it will work and if you use 100mg NIC it wouldn't change flavor much at all. For instance 1ml of 100mg NIC per 5ml of 0mg juice will give you approx 18mg juice.

Hey Danny! Thanks for the fyi on this new vendor. I just emailed them about Ry6 premixed. I did not see a strength offered on the premixed. Do they only sell 0 nic?
They replied. Stated they sell the premixed in zero so diy'ers can taste before they purchase the flavorings. I will have to stay with Catapillar vapes because they have nicotine. I will bookmark this new vendor.

Why BuyHangsen.com?

This really eases my mind. I thought I could taste a bit of difference in the various vendor's offerings of Hangsen flavorings but couldn't be sure. Now I don't have to worry about it:)

Also; thanks to Bob Chill for recommending "Desert Ship" to me. It's become one of my favorite flavors.

Is there a Hangsen recipe thread?

I plan to experiment with a handful of tobacco flavors.

Would also like to try other flavors. I've mainly been using TFA, NF& capellas.

Any recommendations for a must have Hangsen flavor?

Any feedback on the white chocolate, pineapple, mocha, cappuccino, caramel macciato, cheesecake, buterscotch?

Thank you!

One thing with hangsens, tobaccos especially, is there is no recipes needed. The flavor concentrate is a finished recipe. Add one drop per ml and your set. ~ 3% is a good start. It will feel funny like you didn't do anything but its done all you need is to steep anywhere from 3-12 days.

I guess you could mix some together if you want.

I can recommend highway as a must have. I mix it at 3-5%

Try to search the thread for mention of those flavors.

I've seen Danny suggest RY1 plus vanilla and RedUSA plus tobacco absolute among others. Turkish plus vanilla is also very good IMO.

It's very true that the tobaccos really don't need to be mixed with anything to be very good. I would suggest to anyone to mix just the tobaccos and taste. THis will give you an idea on what to add. There's not much you really need to add to make an outstanding mix. for instance

1% hangsen vanilla to arabic is good.

Highway was not as nutty to me as the old T5 so I added 1% AP and it was perfect.

Here's a nice elder captain recipe

hangsen elder captain 7%
EM 0.5% (Thickens and brings out the natural sweetness in the tobacco)
AP 1.7% (Add's some nuttyness)
TFA Chocolate 2% (Wonderful accent note)
rustica ta 3 - 4% (Add's richness to the tobacco flavor)

Another favorite of mine

Rustica TA 4 - 5% (Or substitute a favorite non-nutty slightly sweet hangsen tobacco like an arabic or elder, ry1 or 2)
Hangsen Choc, Caramel, peanut 5%
http://www.rtsvapes.com/Chocolate_Caramel_Peanutbutter_Flavor_HS_p/t553.htm
EM 0.5%

As you can tell I love nutty tobaccos. If nuttyness is not for you these recipes are not for you.

You can get these flavors at buyhangsen.com

HS tobaccos in general are hard to go wrong with. Desert Ship is a must have imo. So is Highway. I followed Danny's advice and mix 6-7% on most but I also add 1 - 1.5% EM to my mixes. I like the way it brings out sweetness and makes the vape more "full". It might mute the flavor a bit so 6-7% isn't too strong.

I also like TAB quite a bit alone or with other flavors. Makes a nice desert tobacco base.

I'm mixing Deluxe and Turkish this week. I haven't tried those yet. They smell really good.

My least favorite so far is HS' version of RY4. It's too light on tobacco flavor. I think it might be a better mixer than a standalone.

If you back off on the EM to .5% I think you'll find the tobacco not as muted and the thickness will remain and the natural sweetness of the tobacco essence will be more pronounced and not seem artifically sweet. I generally use .5% or less in my tobacco mixes. And only if they are to thin or bodyless tasting vapes. If you don't have EM you can substitute the same amount of Marshmallow instead of EM.

My least favorite so far is HS' version of RY4. It's too light on tobacco flavor. I think it might be a better mixer than a standalone.

Adding a little Rustica TA (2- 3%) will help the light tobacco taste.

http://www.wingedseed.com/15322/TOBACCO+ABSOLUTE.html

Mix your TA concentrate 1ml to a 9ml (50/50) PGA/PG base and add that concentrate at 2 - 3%. Steep taste and add more ta if still to light. I've gone to 4 - 5%. Rustica is the sweeter of the 2 available TA's and is great for the sweet and exotic tobaccos. Virginia (TFA type) is a dryer ashier TA good for the dryer american red cig mixes.

Here's what happens when your board. I thought to myself "Self wouldn't a chocolate champagne be interesting?" So I decided to mix 5% hangsen Australian chocolate and 2% hangsen champagne and what I got was something resembling those chocolate twizzlers...... Weired combination but a very interesting vape. Got to let this one sit a few weeks and see what it does. My daughter said it taste like one of those Belgium Godiva chocolates.

Amazing what happens when your mind wanders off, gets lost with no chance of ever finding it again:)
