Here's what happens when your board. I thought to myself "Self wouldn't a chocolate champagne be interesting?" So I decided to mix 5% hangsen Australian chocolate and 2% hangsen champagne and what I got was something resembling those chocolate twizzlers...... Weired combination but a very interesting vape. Got to let this one sit a few weeks and see what it does. My daughter said it taste like one of those Belgium Godiva chocolates.

Amazing what happens when your mind wanders off, gets lost with no chance of ever finding it again:)

Interesting --

add strawberry? LOL choc strawberries w/ champagne?

How many drops of HS from ECX should I use? Everyone is saying 1 drop from original bottle per ml. Is ECX the same?

If this is in reference to my recipe above I measure by ml's and percentages and not drops. As drops vari from bottle to bottle the results would be different from my measurements.

No. I was referring to mixing single flavors. Someone told me that 4 drops from ECX 10ml flavor bottles = 1%.

1 drop/ml from ecx will get you generally in the range of a decent amount of flavoring to start with, but actual measurements will be much more accurate.! I think its between 3.2-4.5% I never measured it. I use a 1 ml syringe now.
1ml flavor in 30ml base is ~3.3%

Thank you. This helps a lot.

If you back off on the EM to .5% I think you'll find the tobacco not as muted and the thickness will remain and the natural sweetness of the tobacco essence will be more pronounced and not seem artifically sweet. I generally use .5% or less in my tobacco mixes. And only if they are to thin or bodyless tasting vapes. If you don't have EM you can substitute the same amount of Marshmallow instead of EM.

I took the advice and mixed .5% with my DS recipe and also mixed Deluxe and Turkish to sample. I only added a touch of EM to Deluxe and Turkish and no AP. I want to get an idea of what I'm working with. They both smell great.

HS tobaccos are really the most simple and tasty flavors to mix. I still have yet to find the need to explore various accent flavors. I did add 2% hs vanilla to highway. It was really nice. I'm constantly caught between wanting to try new and exciting blends of multiple flavors but I'm so satisfied with my current cache of recipes that I just don't have the motivation. I suppose the day will come.

I still haven't pulled the trigger on the popular inawera tobaccos yet. I'm almost scared. LOL

Hi everyone, I have a dumb question. What are the two interwoven parts that make up the cap on HS bottles. I tried prying/twisting them apart with no luck. I need to replace those needle noses because I count drops and the drops are too tiny. Was thinking perhaps the inner part of the cap is a regular nozzle. Help, before I break the cap trying to separate the parts.

Well good news for you each flavor is a complete recipe.. No magical mixes needed here. You picked the simplest diy flavor concentrate brand there is. Each should be Good on its own. Generally most are good at 3-6% unless you need a really strong flavor you can push 9. Most of mine are 3-6% max.. it is highly recommended to start at 3 or 6 and work from there with a 3-7 day steep to test flavor strength.

All those are completed flavors mixing is only
Needed if you want to play around with them.

I recommend finding the % you need for each flavor. If you don't want to go through the hassle go 3-5%. If you want say raspberry cream mix 3% raspberry 2% cream. That's just a guess. You really need to see what % each need to be flavorful for you.

Thanks. Going to be taking baby steps into this whole DIY. Anxious to get my flavors. I have one Raspberry from FA, and a handful from Lorann. I really didn't like the Lorann, and the color dye was real heavy. The FA was good, far to tart and probably needs a steep to get a feel for it. Anyway, Hangsen seems like a real good starting point.

Any tips for future flavors?

Thanks to the person who found buyhangsen. Decided to give the hangsen flavors another try. I had really like them previously but found the flavor wasn't robust enough even at higher percentages. Fingers crossed that as I have seen others post that the flavoring will be fresher and therefore maybe stronger.
