Thank you so much, Danny!

If your getting burnt popcorn or corn chip. Make sure your AP is a 5% solution and not a 10% solution. Depending on where you get it the strength of the flavor mix can be different. I use 5% solution from TPA. If your using a 10% solution then cut the amount added to your mix in half.

I do believe this flavor molecule does improve over time in mixes that are 50:50 VG/PG. I have a bottle of Who Killed Marilyn that was mixed with 1% AP that was made on Aug 29 that is while still not to my expectation far better than it was at the 5 week steep point. I do believe (for me, 0.25% AP would be about perfect assuming a similarly lengthy steep).

As you pointed out. Mixes with AP and tobacco do need steeping. Expecially tobaccos need an average 3 - 5 week steep. Prime needs 3 weeks or 3 to 4 hours in 150F hot water.

AP will mellow with steeping and time.

Just tried 4 new to me Hangsen Flavors: Fortune Strike, Tab blended, Deluxe Tobacco and Cigar. I liked them in that order, but personal preferences aside I find CIGAR way too weak to be a "Cigar" flavor. Fortune Strike is going to be one of my Hangsen Stars, great flavor between nutty and ashy, excellent T. Hit and it shines at 7%. tab Blended is good too, bit more nutty and less ashy. Deluxe can be good but not to my preferences (maybe too fruity or sweet). And Cigar, as I told above, completely disappointing because its weakness. maybe i will try it at a higher concentration but i have not many hopes on it. Still, IMO, Hangsen tobaccos are the best.

I agree with your assessment of cigar. I found it to weak at 7% and vapable but still slightly weak at 9%. Not one of my favs. If you get some Inawera DNB and add that at 6 drops per 10ml it makes cigar so much better. It adds the missing ashy note to any tobacco and really perks up weak tobaccos. Also if you have some tobacco absolute that also helps.

All over the place
I don't know, To me no.5 seemed a little nutter then highway. Everyone tastes things differently.

I could never get a straight answer form Hangsen or any vendor about their differences in T5 and Highway considering the premades I had were sold as "Highway/T5" (though mine were labeled as Highway). That got frustrating to me. I can't remember who it was that told me they were the same/just different names, but I didn't think so.

Or am I confusing T5 with No.5? Sheesh.

I'm really liking the Canadian. When I first mixed it at 6%, I put a drop on my finger to taste it and thought that it tasted strong but after two weeks it really has a nice maple taste coming through. I might drop down the percentage a bit to see how it changes.
Golden Tree ( Amber Leaf ) is interesting too. Still have to mess with this one.

I do vape #5 and Highway. Never tried T5 but some have said that T5 is the former name of #5. And differences between #5 and Highway are Clear? to me, I find Highway more flavorful in the nuttiness aspect and a bit more sweet; T5 very similar but less nutty and more dry and ashy than Highway - Danny says exactly the contrary, he finds #5 nuttier than Highway, and if i were you i would rather believe him, or at least would try both and then decide. At the end both are excellent and you won't go wrong with any of them.

It was T5 that was renamed No.5. Highway was always highway even when T5 was still available. Taste wise. I still have a bottle of T5 and No.5 does taste like it as far as the base tobacco note except slightly less nutty. T5 seemed to me to be the nuttest of all 3. Highway seems to have a sweeter tobacco note.

Okay, then I think I did first fall for Highway (even though it was named T5/Highway). Oh, and when I ordered it form 555 from FT I was sent Highway. But, those were pre-mades.

Anyway, Danny (or anyone), what percentage do you use the Caramel Toffee? I absolutely adore that concetrate, but I find it works better, performance wise, at low percentages. Like really low.

I just vaped 11 day steeped 3.5% Indian. It's pretty much reminiscent of my home extracted Organic American Spirit with its layers of earthy goodness. To me so far, it's more like robust fresh tobacco leaves taste then the burning tobacco. I prefer the fresh taste. It's a winner so far for me. Let's see how it'll change over the next two weeks.

It's interesting that the mixed juice in the bottle only has a faint aroma but the vape is quite robust. I'll vape about 2 mL and then check the coil. Let's see how the coil will look like... I'll be devastated if the coil gets gunked after 2 mL

MY HANGSEN RY4 SUCKS!!!
I have some Hangsen RY4 Essence Concentrated Flavoring that I purchased from VZ. I have made sample batches ranging from 5% up to 15% using 50/50 VG/PG with 5mg nicotine. And they all have tasted horrible. I am a tobacco vaper and have arrived at some very nice Turkish Blended and Desert Ship, (Hangsen) formulas. But the RY4 keeps eluding me. I do add a bit of EM about 1%-2% with good results. I even tried a few drops of Lemon juice but no success. The flavoring has a great smell rich with caramel undertones. But when mixed, its harsh, barely any tobacco taste and the caramel is non-existent. Steep time on the last batch was over three weeks.
Bad bottle perhaps? Its not a big bottle so I can live with tossing it. But I am hesitant buying another Hangsen RY4 bottle. Maybe I need to look elsewhere? I am under the impression that RY4 is supposed to be known for that caramel, slightly sweet flavor.
Suggestions anyone?

Glad you like the Indian, it is a fav of mine as well.
As far as coil gunking I havent noticed anything too bad although I vape at higher wattage (30-35) and I think it keeps the coil cleaner longer.
