To me Tob Symph is a good mixer too; alone it is a bit strange, like salty and nutty, but it's not so bad. Dnb...only use as additive if you like "ashy". And even so, be careful with it. Some like it 6 drops in 10ml, to me that is STRONG, and i was a heavy smoker of dark tobacco.. 3 drops in 10 ml works good for me, even with Hangsen Tobaccos. I'm planning using it on Hangsen Cigar since it is so weak by itself. S'Camel is good but similar to several Hangsens. And Gold Ducat, Am4A, Cavendish, Old havana, Smoke And Prunes, Taboo, etc...I really dislike them.

S'Camel is good, i haven't noticed buttery notes but maybe because I add DNB to it. TA Cuban is espectacular, and Virginia TA is ok. To me, nothing else Inawera's does a thing, so at the end I enjoy HANGSEN flavors much more, even when they are not as concentrated as Inawera or tobacco Express.

Speaking of Virginia, doesn't HS have one? Any opinions on it? I love Virginia tobacco leaves in a Hukah, but don't care too much for the FA version.

Not in this order but so far Red Usa, Indian, Arabic, Highway and #5. Still need to decide on Deluxe but most probably it will join my favorites. Just a little comment on Arabic and Highway: I like them much as a mood alternative but to me they are not all day vapes.

Exchaner, though good in my book, and certainly better than FA's, HG Virginia strikes me a little bland compared with others.

I am at a loss w/ the butterscotch. I have read good reviews about it but am not getting any buttery or sweet notes. The first bottle was way way off and seemed to have completely oxidized. The second bottle had hints of sweetness but is prooving to be off by a long shot as well. Has anybody had experience with this flavor? Is it an issue w/ freshness? Do I need to steep it for a month or something? If it is actually a good flavor I'd be willing to go to Hangsen directly in order to get a fresh product. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am afraid I've had some issues with certain Hangsen's flavors purchased from sellers that buy them bulk and rebottle them for reselling. Is yours one of those, or the original hangsen sealed bottle?

Also, although i don't do other than tobacco flavors, I understand that buttery flavors may contain an ingredient that may be bad to your health, and some of their manufacturers sell a new version of them, which uses a substitute for that product. In case this may concern you please research more about this.

I've been sampling 10 day steeped 5% Pipe and I'm not liking it much. It has medium to light tobacco, a bit sweetness and a flavor which I can't pin point. Creamy, some fruity maybe? Not an interesting vape so far.

Could be an issue with the vender you bought it from. I've had issues with hangsen butterscotch from a certain vender. Try buyhangsen.com.

Yes, BuyHangsen.com or BullCityVapor.com both sell Hangsen bottled flavors. Of rebottlers, the one I've found to be very good is RTSVapes.com. Nice feature with RTS is their flavors all ship in glass. ATM advantage may be with BuyHangsen as everything is on close-out (sadly) with good pricing.

And +1 on what Art said. If you're not informed about buttery flavors and health risks, you might want to do some reading. If you are currently informed, ignore this.

Without test results only manufacturers really know. So becomes a question of risk tolerance, personal values and what you taste. I can say I purged many flavors after TFA published test results and that Hangsen Vanilla and Caramel Toffee joined as "suspicious/untested". I've subsequently limited purchases to their tobaccos; comfortable here with all except Pipe.

The bottle will 2 years old in one month which is it's expiration date. It was nasty. The second bottle was from RTS which was rebottled. It is slightly sweet but still bad. It seems that this flavor goes bad long before the stamped expiration date.

I am fully aware of the diacetyl scare. I find it interesting that cigarettes contain 100 times more diacetyl and there is yet to be a single case of popcorn lung from smoking let alone vaping. I find it hard to believe with all the people that have been blowing clouds of this stuff that we will suddenly have outbreaks of popcorn lung in the vaping community. Not a single documented case. Vaping has been around for over a decade now.

"Scare" is not the right word. We're all grown-ups and entitled to make our own choices. Certainly you can do so -- and not preaching here. However, early indications are certainly more insidious -- suspicions of a role in COPD. By eliminating many other "contaminants", ecig's may be a near perfect vehicle to prove or disprove. But I have no interest in being a lab rat on this topic; nor do some others. Which is why this is oft mentioned. In other words, get used to people passing on suspicions -- until manufacturers publish test results. But just ignore if you please.

And, how did you mix CIGAR (if you have) to get anything out of it? Mine is a total meh even at 10%, I am starting to believe that this is a very outdated bottle of essence, or something else...
