 I must have missed that one too!
Lol's.
Wasn't my proudest moment, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.
Rural two lane highway, had come off a red light, morning commute, so fairly heavy traffic.
We'd all just gotten up to top speed. I often end up behind the bus, so I'm familiar with the stops.
I was the first car behind the bus, guy behind me was pulling a loaded trailer, several other cars behind him.
We're going along, and I look to the left thinking...she just missed that kid on her stop.
I look back, and BRAKE LIGHTS...not just slowing, but making a FULL stop, quite a ways past the kid.
I look in my rearview, guy with the trailer is NOT going to get stopped in time.
I actually would have, but he was going to smack me for SURE...every other car behind him was doing the jog as well...so at the last minute, I just went around. It was a flat shoulder, no kids were in danger, she hadn't even completely stopped...kid waiting for the bus was on the left, a WAYS back.
Dumb gal should have turned around and gone and collected him.

See those ear tags,I'll bet she's in deep poo poo if they catch up with her :(
I noticed the tags. I'll bet she is too.
Hopefully they'll just relocate her. I personally think it's unfair to the bears when people move to the woods and expect the bears to know they're not supposed to be around....:2c:
Cuz I'm thinking the bears were prob there first.

They did that with a male bear here years ago 3 times even moved him a few hundred miles a few times, third time he came back he vanished and wasn't seen again.Another one tore up the front of one of cop cars while on dash cam he was all over the place around here getting into trouble before he moved on.

    Wow.
I'm cautious at night when I take Rita out.
Saw a video with a bobcat, they're pretty darn agile, and their population is said to be growing again.
We don't have a lot around here, nothing big anyway.

I actually didn't realize there were bears in MO.

I don't have a problem with animals being hunted for food...at all. :)
I just have to laugh when people move to the woods and are surprised that there are animals. [emoji23]
    Agreed.

Exactly why I told the evil one she needs to learn to handle a rifle.

Doesn't help when they euthanize a protective ("aggressive") mother and relocate the cub to a known populated area, though.

    Woods or not.

    No. Not at all.
I even see more foxes, well...and awhile back, remember I saw that mink. :)
I guess fur isn't too valuable anymore, so not as many trappers.
Course, maybe some still do that I just don't know about.

Yeah. Heaven forbid the local righteous indignation brigade finds out you like hunting critters.

Which reminds me. Need to buckle down and start looking for a good rifle. Wild boar are treated pretty much the same way as coyotes down here (nuisance). Time for a BBQ. :D
