Got my lawn mowed yesterday, going to take my daughter bowling today. Maybe get my truck in for an oil change, my mechanic never takes a day off lol. Bbq some steaks later on

I've told dad not to knock on my door in the mornings unless he was bleeding. So this morning, he called me on my phone.

heehee His Spectrum cable box is not getting a signal. The technician is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Then he asked me to put Slime tire sealant in his mower. I had to put my foot down and told him not until after I had my coffee.

heehee I think his cantankerousness is infectious.

Peace has been restored to our lives
Most of the mess is picked up or shoved into the spare room for me to deal with this week.

I’ve spent some time recovering the quiet in my mind. I love our granddaughters even if the littlest one did bite me today and left a bruise. All because I wouldn’t let her have the stuff on my table Biting is a big no - no with me so next time she’ll be getting a swat. Caught me of guard today.

I feel bad because I chuckled at that but I totally agree about biting. I can remember feeling bad about biting my daughter when she was little after she bit me. I may not have handled that the correct way but she never bit me again.

I can also see where it caught you off guard but I bet you'll be ready if it ever happens again. heehee

Ubered the fam out to eat tonight. The steak was fixed/seasoned exactly as I like it. It was harder tonight giving dad the biggest piece like I normally do. heehee But he ate all but one bite. I like splitting meals. I know it sounds like something I would do to save money but I don't. I enjoy the meal more when I don't try to eat it all. Even when I date myself, I bring half home.

I think it is about time I planned a date night for myself.

Woot!!! As sad as I am that it’s Monday, today is a low key. I have to make some pasta salad for dinner and I’ve already started a load of laundry.
