Listen, as a wise member stated earlier, everyone has an opinion, and most of them stink. However you guys justify sleeping at night is up to you. I've read a lot of those posts here for a while now and remained silent. That stops now.

Being a "victim" of intellectual property theft myself I'm very passionate about this. To put as much time and effort into a products development in order to make it and sell it for a profit, then to have your hard work stolen and made for pennies off your effort is simply wrong. It's no different than busting into a place and stealing what you want.

Perceived value means nothing. If something costs more than you think it's worth, don't buy it. To buy an unauthorized copy is theft.

Not being able to afford the original does not justify theft.

Enjoying a copy more than the original means it's either all in your head or the copy has been improved. This is a gray area, especially when there's a lack of patent protection. The copy would have to be significantly different from the original for me to even consider it. I did buy an R91 because it's not only different enough from a kayfun, the original designer authorized it's manufacture.

There's my $0.02

Well I view it like this. I wouldn't buy a knock-off bag or watch. I do the same with vape stuff. If I can't afford it - I don't want it.

Anyone care to enlighten me as to why there is so much ProVari bashing? One example is price. So many times I've read the ProVari is very expensive blah blah blah, while in the next thread I'm reading about another mod selling for significantly more without any mention of price. I don't get it. I feel one should purchase within a personal comfort zone and not a penny more. Why bash a mod because you can't afford it or don't feel comfortable spending it's asking price? It's a mystery to me.

I once walked to the Great Provarinati Temple :?:
And I looked into the All Seeing Eye and I asked this question.

A voice spoke to me and said,

O I

So I ran to the one that knows all (Google) and I ask, "Who are these OI's and what does OI stand for?"

And this is what the one that knows all came up with,

Obstinate Ignorance :)

ob·sti·nate adjective \ˈäb-stə-nət\

: refusing to change your behavior or your ideas
: difficult to deal with, remove, etc.

ig·no·rance noun \ˈig-n(ə-)rən(t)s\

: a lack of knowledge, understanding, or education : the state of being ignorant.

Dear SvoeMesto friends,

normally we wouldn't interfere with debates going on in the vaping community, but it has come to our attention, that people get into arguments over a rumor that insistently hold itself especially in the American community. As this can be settled by a simple clarification, here is some information you might find helpful:

SvoeMesto was launched not by 2, but 3 gentlemen, one from Russia and two from Germany. And all three of them are still the shareholders of the company. There has been no split up within the founders whatsoever and we all work together with full enthusiasm.

We hope that this post can prevent further unnecessary arguments, so we all can concentrate our energy and more important and more positive things.

To all of you:

Have a wonderful day!

Never watch Repo Man. You'll just get mad.

I had one on my name when i got a infraction. They msg you though if you get one.
Its like when the teacher put a mark next to your name on the chalk board....
Sure would be nice to get a heads up or a warning so at least I would know what I did/said wrong. At least then I would have a chance to defend myself and/or correct it. Isn't that the way adults handle situations?

To my ECF Friends: If I have offended any of you in any way, please let me know!! Surely that is not my intention!!!

Think of it along the lines of Sports. One group of fans for X sport team, is gonna talk trash about a group of Y sport team fans.
A lot of talk, that means absolutely nothing. :2c:

Relax, I'm fairly certain that's not what the asterix means. Otherwise many of our avatars would be covered with them!
If you really want to know the meaning, PM the mods.

I think the clones actually promote the originals, ive also watched interviews where they say they dont feel it hurts their sales of the originals. I think most people who buy clones wouldnt generally spend the price of the originals anyway, then there are those like me, who buy the clone, then save up for the original.

I think of it like cigarettes, i bought newports. No matter my money, i bought newports or nothing...
My brother bought what ever was on sale.
My mom bought generics, which often are packaged similar design as name brands...

Either way, newport wasnt hurting in sales because of it.

Some people have brand loyalty, some people or pocket book loyal.

Me i dont judge. Buy what you want.
Me, im shopping at fasttech when i can... And during tax time.... Thats another storu
