Doesn't help here. The problem is that condensation coming up the center tube builds up, and the hole is small enough that the liquid can collect and block the hole such that, next puff, you've got a bead of juice popping out.

and they didn't know this before it left China.... back to the drawing board, again.

This is a common problem with most cartos. The beveled 808 (Volt/Bloog) tips don't have this problem, but standard cartos do. Not quite as bad, mind you. It's one of the reasons drip tips are popular even for non-drippers.
