Alright, so here is the new Tidy clearo from Innokin:
Bottom coil, no syringe required, doesn't rely on internal pressure to regulate wicking. It's basically designed like the Phoenix internally.
I've only had a very short time with it, but so far my initial impressions:
- Draw is a little tight.
- Flavour isn't the greatest, a little muted, but may need to be broken in.
- Can't wick my 70/30 juice very well, needs a lot of primer puffs.
- Throat hit is great when the wick is properly charged, but as I said, it seems to need a lot of primer puffs.
- Fill is dead simple; rubber mouthpiece can be prised off with your fingernail.
- However, condensation and the small hole in the mouthpiece means juice in the mouth, and because of the design, you can't use a drip tip unless you fill the clearo end of it with something and poke a hole for the air tube.
- iTaste Cap doesn't seem to fit all the way down; it sticks up about a mm, though it's still secure.
They sent me packs of both 510 and 808 threaded Tidys, and I haven't tried the 808 yet but I expect it's the same.
I'll know more once I've had a chance to use it more.
