Not really sure what is going on there.

Here are the v1 and JGG hybrid bases with the springomizer update (full) installed.
v1 is using the v1 pin and the JGG hybrid base using the pin that comes with the hybrid base.

I was talking about this problem here that Sad mentioned.

So he ended up not using the springomizer housing but only springomizer internals?

Could it be that the internal parts of Springomizer are not well placed inside its housing?

When I assembled one of my Springomizers (it came disassembled), I had to play a little with the internal parts to fit them properly into the housing.

Just guessing :)

It could be just that, I took them apart and cleaned them when they arrived, put them back together and screwed the whole new internal in to the older base. The only thing I kept from the old internal is the positive pin which is required for the air flow.

Yes, only the Springomizer internals. The V2 housing that came with the Springomizer does not screw in all the way into the Non-AFC V1 base. Which makes it so the pin cannot make contact. I cannot say if this is a problem for others or if I just had bad luck.

It seems not a problem for others and that is why I brought the subject up.

I would advise to disassemble the housing again and try again. Because the V2 has the larger channels I think and curved openings. But it comes back to u :).

No use to try again. The V2 housing has a lip which stops the housing from going in the base at a certain point.
The mouthpiece liquid control fits and could cover the whole area of the V2 housing that doesn't go into the base, even with the lip stopping the housing into the base. I would need a longer pin for the V2 housing to work with the V1 base.
I already solved this problem by only using the Springomizer internals. All other parts are V1. If it's just my problem then that's fine. It's already been solved IMO.

The V1 and V2 housing are not that much different on the channels.

Today I switched the housing of the new rebuildable part with the housing of the v2 Plus and man the airflow is a huge difference, and Im talking about the 2.0mm new rebuildable part. The wicking and vapot are also improved. At .51 ohms and 80% VG, vaping haven!!!

What do you mean by switching the housings? Did you put the internals of the springomizer into the housing of v2 plus? That housing with large, semicircular holes in the bottom? I can't see how this thing is changing the airflow.
