yes, the only high retention filtering I perform is the final filtering. Everything up to that point is just plain ordinary coffee filters.

Hi is the Thai Tea a powder? How did it turn out. I'm sure it's not the same as drinking it, but is it close? Thanks for all the advise. I think tomorrow I'll be zeroing in this Thai Tea juice. And today the new round of tobaccos came in. More ethanol extractions ahead.![]()

flavor of the tea mix coming through in the vapor is authentic, though without the added sweet creaminess of the condensed milk. I may use a flavoring later to get that. But for now I'm just relying on the sweetness of the high VG.
I made a NET tea vape for myself and the wife a while back; Celestial Seasonings Moroccan Pomegranate Rooibos. With a tiny touch of FA Vienna cream, it was splendid!![]()
..................Thanks to a question asked by Kbriggs in a different thread I've started another experiment. Two pipe tobaccos (Voodoo Queen and Billy Bud) will be extracted at room temperature for 30+ days. It's been a year or two since I played around with room temperature extractions using ethanol as the solvent and if memory serves me correctly 10 days was the longest cold soak I was able to perform due to the excessive gunk ethanol would pull from the tobacco. Extractions processed beyond 10 days developed a murky plant like chlorophyll taste and were hard on wicks and coils. I wasn't able to achieve the full range or depth of flavor I desired from a 10 day room temperature ethanol soak -but- that was back before the advent of "freeze filtering". I'd be interested to see what kind of flavor a 30+ day room temperature ethanol extraction can yield and I'll be depending on freeze filtering to remove the undesirables elements that'll be leeched from the tobacco during the process............
After a three month soak the room temperature ethanol based extraction of C&D "Billy Bud" has turned out to be extremely potent and robust, far more so than a 12 hour hot extraction of the same tobacco.

Did you do any shorter tests of room temperature PGA (e.g., 30 days)?
A FB bud of mine on DIY Tobacco Ejuice swears by this method. He mainly does cigars; touts that room temp, long steep ethanol extraction are THE best way to get the best results from the tobacco. I agree with his views, having done a few myself. However, I'm a lazy .... and do relatively quick (month cold steep after a few hours in a crock pot) PG extractions most of the time. I'm just a bit impatient when it comes to the ethanol extractions.
Damn you Time!![]()
What do you think of the PG extracted Picayune?
Perhaps their first attempts at making NETs were lackluster, maybe they should have surfed our extraction forum first?
