Sounds like it needs a charge... Why won't it connect to the charger?

Spinners use those Ego chargers right? -- the kind that connect to the 510?

Andria
It's an 510. Use correct charger. I just plugged it out after fully charged. Used it for 5 mins, then this happened. No problems until now. It just won't connect to anything. I've tried flipping the center pin on the battery a bit up with no success.

Ok... but what happens when you try to screw in the charger? It just keeps going around and around, or what?

Absolutely nothing.

You're not really answering what I asked... does it just keep spinning around without screwing all the way into the 510? If so, then the threads are stripped. Or maybe you popped the battery post so far out, it can't grab enough threads to screw all the way down.

Ah I misunderstood. No it screws on completely normal. Everything seems normal with the button, hitting it, it looks like it should work. And nothing is wrong when looking at it, nothing loose or anything. It just doesn't fire the atty, neither connects to thr charger. But it screws on just as normal.

Ok, so once you get the charger screwed in, then connect it to the wall wart, it just won't charge? Sounds like it's just dead. Which is a bad thing, but not as bad a thing as having it try to charge, and exploding/bursting into flames, as those kinds of chargers are so prone to do.

Enaud, another great option. :) Thanks for posting this. Going to try as soon as present tank empty! I can't rebuild these vertical coils, but I can rebuild the ProTank 2 coils......which can also be used in my SubTank mini. Lovin' the alternatives smart people find for us Tootle Puffers.
Whaaaat!!! You are using Evod coils in the Subbi, ??

I've only used the single ProTank 2 coils in my PT's and Davides.......Strike that. With the Aspire extension ring I can use these very same Aspire replacement (non Nauty) BVC coils in the PT's & Davides as well. Boy am I having a fun time tootling......specially now that I can use 3 differnt coils in the SubTank! :)

Just remember to be careful to not let the top part unscrew when it's filled, or there will be flooding of the coil. I use a little piece of tape for security when out and about with this dealio.
And when re-filling it, check that the coil is tight in the base, every time.

Are they!?

But I was using it like normal and then poof, not working anymore. I just want to vape, and I loved that battery. The battery itself works as it should with the lights. I took a video if you want to see? Well anyway, I guess I have to return it to the shop. It has 3 months guarantee. Meanwhile I'm gonna be using my old, nearly broken evod starter kit. The one where all the silicone caps are gone, the tank is cracked and leaking everywhere with horrible vapor and nicotine delivery.

This is why I sometimes hate electrical products. Sometimes they just don't work and mess around with you. I'm still incredibly addicted to the nicotine and can't go an hour without. And things like this makes me mad and aggressive, and making me urge a good vape even more, creating an evil circle. Cigarettes never let me down like this :(

Here is the video by the way!

Enaud, am using the Subtank mini. Got the black, white and the silver. Am lost as to what "top part" you're warning me about. The "flue/chimney" is attached permanently to the top where the tip goes in.....I think. Will recheck, but no loosening in the 3 mos. I've had them.

Thank you again for your post. :) Having a grand ol' time tootling on the Aspire 1.5 ohm BVC at 8.5 watts. Ha!

Note to folks wanting to use PT2 coils in your various Subtanks - found that the NANO "flue/chimney" is a wee bit narrower than the MINI. Only certain PT2 chimneys will fit properly in the NANO. Did not have that issue with the MINI...

First off I know it's frustrating but hang in there!
I'm thinking that the 510 pin is not making contact with your atty or your charger. If you can slip a little flat head screw driver in there and ever so gently try to raise it up. When you screw something down on those batteries and you force it down the 510 pin has a tendency to move down in the connector. I hope that helps

I'm trying, but it is difficult indeed !

I've already done that. A lot. People said I had to do it more, and harder. I did. Then they said try it again, even harder. I did. At that point I was scared the pin was gonna fall off.

I keep checking the battery to see if it just took a little break :(

I've looked at quite a few different "exploding e-cigarette" videos and pics online, to get an idea of just how awful this situation can be... and 90% of them, there's a melted Ego charger somewhere in the pic or video. The things are just so cheaply made, and if even the SLIGHTEST thing goes wrong with them... fiery poof. Those Ego/Spinner/Winder batteries are also pretty cheaply made, and really not very safe. They cause a lot more battery angst than even mechanical mods, whose problems are generally down to stupid-user error (using the wrong batteries, batteries with too little amperage for low ohms, and sometimes poorly vented tubes). As I often point out, it might not be true of EVERY Ego/Spinner/Winder, some of them are probably just fine... but it only takes one to really foul up your day.

External battery charging, or internal LiPo charging via a USB port (iStick, CoolFire4, and countless others), is much safer and more reliable -- unless it's an iStick 50w, then all bets are off. :D

But the tank doesn't have anything to do with the battery -- use the old battery if you need to, until you get a new one, but there's no reason you have to use the old tank.

You may have popped it so far up, the wire has come unattached inside.

I'm sorry that didn't work. I'll keep thinking for a solution. This is why most vapers have a back up equipment for times like these. I'm not trying to be condensending but it is something to think about for the future.

I tried it a lot of times, and checked after every little movement.

I can't use that tank on my other battery as it is a dual coil.

But I want this kind..I have several tanks and tons of coils. It'd cost me a ton to move onto another setup. So i'm gonna stick with 510/ego until I won the lottery, because I can't afford much. I stopped buying every sort of snack/candy/soda ever anf that's my budget for vaping.
