Your not alone.. When I first started vaping, everyone in my family thought I was crazy, or trying to be fancy, etc etc.. Idk how many times I heard it wasnt safe from people who knew nothing about it..
I hadn't seen her in months when I visited. I've used it outside every time there was a "smoke break" there. She really dislikes the thing. I asked why. Then she said it was dangerous. And then I asked her why she think it is. Then she replied that you get far more nicotine in it compared to cigarettes..

If I just had the time, I could've talked about just the nicotine for an hour, but I had to run to catch the bus.

Is this a mainstream thought? That when you migrate to vaping, everyone assumes you're almost intolerant to nicotine OD so almost can ingest it directly? I vape, and stop when I feel the nicotine high. Same as I did with cigarettes. No difference. Nicotine isn't that "dangerous" either. It's compareable to caffeine and have various positive health effects. Sure it may not be all 100% good for you, but nothing is today, really. Unless you live on a place far away from other people or cities, and get all your food ia hunted or grown. Well, guess you could call that dangerous as well..

For some reason a lot of people think that "Vaporizing" Nicotine is unsafe, somehow changing its properties and like you said a Nicotine OD..

You know when you have had too much. It doesn't matter where you get it from. And she wasn't talking about the actual vaporizing, but the amount.

Not my idea, but I ran with it, 1.8Ω Aspire BVC coil onboard :)

I missed this yesterday. Are you saying the aspire non nautilus BVC coils work in the kanger sub tank and the mini ;)

So true.

But what i weird though, when it shows up in the news that a phone exploded in someones face, nobody even gives a ..... When it's a PV exploding in someones face, it spreads like fire on dry grass...

Guess it is because everyone uses a phone and is dependent on it, but only some vape, making people who aren't that aware of what vaping is really sceptical.

With RBA?
The ST Plus Black model only comes with Ni200 & Nichrome coils, just meant I would rather use it with the regular SubTank Kanthal Coils.. Or an RBA build!

Edit* Arnt the new OCC Coils Nichrome builds???

I still hear those same words......... from smokers.

(once again, shaking my head so hard I'll never need another chiro appointment)

"It is not safe".
And smoking is?
"You should just quit smoking"
I did, I started vaping which is at least 90% safer than smoking.
"But it is still not safe"
Neither is riding in a car. You gonna quit riding in a car?
"Of course not. Do you think I am stupid?"
I dunno.......

Well... screw and play sounds like more fun.

Yes! Just screw and play  You can put a silicon cup from an Evod/PT2 coil onto the chimney inside the tank, or just go bare back :D

I asked a guy the other night what he though "niacin" (Vitamin B3) was. The conversation got very interesting.

Okay...I think I'm may have to cave. Maybe. I watched a YouTube on how to rebuild coils for the GS Air, and I think I "get" it. But I like things nicely pigeonholed...the right tool for the job and all that. So, although this may be moved pretty quick into a different thread I wanted to ask really quickly here: I am looking at some kits/jigs on Ebay. Is 1.6mm the same as what people are calling 16 for the size "needle" needed to coil a GS Air for 1.5ohms? Is it possible to make the ohms a bit higher with the GS air coils? Like maybe 2.1? Any charts explaining number of turns around the needle/wire size/ohms result anywhere? What size and type wire? Is Kanthal correct? I can get a kit with tweezers and little clippers and whatnot (already have an ohm checker). I need something pretty basic, since I won't be varying much from 1.5-2.1 ohms...ever. So, please someone point me to a nice kit at a vape store online, or tell me a few details to look for. Please?:thumb::hubba:

EDIT to add: Oh yeah. Price. Please please...I need economical! Very ecomonical! Nothing fancy or pricey (I consider $40 "pricey")

EDIT 2: Oh yeah..PMs are fine...so we don't get "off topic" in this thread.
