@WattWick is from Norway. He might be a good resource.
Thanks, I'll take it with him ;)

As for SO, I know that has been used, but what I miss in english is short, single word on "live-in girlfriend/boyfriend" Live-in girlfriend sounds more like an alive girlfriend as someone stated above :p

Your girlfriend might be called your hunny (honey), altho I suppose hubby might work in some cases.

I agree with Krisma. It's truly the journey we ALL take to find the vape that works for us. Finding the right mg. strength, the right flavor, the right % of PG/VG, the right heat level, the right sized mod...... all of this comes into play.

It is somewhat daunting and I very much understand why someone would just go smoke.

I'm feeling something more and more lately, and that is the return to easy and simple vaping. It is SO needed.
If I could "like" this a dozen times I would!!!!!! I want SIMPLE! I have enough troubles and cares in my life. I don't want vaping to be a "hobby". It's to give me comfort and ease my nerves. I had to learn to DIY to save money. That worked out, but now I have to learn to re-wick and re-build coils, too? Why can't it be easy...like cigarettes?

Kind of a trade off between simple and good, isn't it?

Vuse is simple...

But coils don't have to be complex, and, depending on the topper, can be simple to build. Last a long time. And, if sticking to one type of wick, you get a feel for it's needed density pretty quickly, so that becomes simple as well.

I have at least a half dozen KFs ready at all times (different flavors), along with a few single bottom coil clearos on spinner types. So rebuild/rewick is never an urgent task.

No, not quite as simple as fill and go, but close!

I miss my little guy. He's turned into this 5'11" hulk with a goatee and receding hairline.

That's probably the best thing about small pets... they stay your baby forever.

Andria
Both my little guys turned into hulks...one is all brawn (he is a body builder) with a beard and receding hairline. He's 30 and still unmarried. The other is nearly 6 foot and in the Navy. I have my doubts he'll ever marry, being something of a Sheldon Cooper type. BUT...my daughter has provided me with two (count 'em 2!) beautiful grandbabies. The boy is 3 and a complete pistol/Tasmanian devil. Dennis the Menace in the flesh. But too adorable for words, and will be a heartbreaker when he grows up. The little girl isn't even a year old yet...but is the image of her Grandmamma  and is as sweet and calm as a Spring morning.

Because it's not cigarettes. And it won't kill you like cigarettes either.

The easy things in life turn out to be the most trouble.

Preachin' to the choir, my friend! I don't want to go back to cigarettes. I want something simple. Things that actually work. Quality control. I don't see why people "have" to learn to re-build coils. I'm not really that hooked on nicotine, since I'm a Tootle Puffer using mostly 6 to 7 watts and 1.5 to 2.1 ohm, and my DIY juice is only about 2.5mg. Almost not there. My deal is the hand to mouth habit. That is what my Achilles Heel has been all my life. When I was a baby/toddler I sucked my fingers. When I was a kid I was always wanting snacks...I'd get a bag of M&Ms and eat them slowly, one by one, chipping the shell off first with my teeth before eating the chocolate to make them last as long as possible. I also ate a lot of popcorn...one kernel (biting off pieces, believe it or not) at a time to make it last. It's the hand to mouth thing for me. In a way, starting smoking in college was a "godsend" for someone like me trying to keep my slim figure. Though I hate having to say that. Cigarettes kept me from snacking. After 43 years of that bad habit I quit and went with vaping...and it works! I stepped down off the nicotine over about a year until I am where I am now and have been for a few years. I feel I could give up the nicotine. That would be painless. But I enjoy the flavor of my menthol juice, and vaping satisfies my urge for the hand to mouth thing. I simply resent having it be such a production . I just want things to work. If I buy a pack of coils..they ought to work. If one is bad, I'll let that slide. But NOT a whole box! Or 3 or 4 out of 5! I spent hours/days/weeks perfecting my DIY juice a few years ago. That was trial enough, but it saves me money and I far prefer my juice to any commercial menthol I've tried since. Now I have go through the whole thing again learning to rebuild coils because of lousy quality control over overpriced things I've paid for. I'm in poor health, and on a limited fixed income. My husband is gravely ill. I don't need this aggravation!

Okay. Sorry. Getting off my soapbox now. But it feels good to get it off my chest anyway! :grr: :(

You don't have to build coils. You can use the pre-made kind, and caveat emptor. Or you can build your own, and know that they're good for weeks or months, while saving you a buttload of money and waiting and frustration.

Here's my version of simple:

2 Achilles RDAs
2 CoolFire IV's

Alternate them daily, so that each mod has a day to charge and rest. Dry-burn/re-wick one of the Achilles every other day -- and it's that often only because my juice is VERY gunky -- for many ejuices, that could easily go to "every other week".

Achilles is about the easiest-to-build atty I've ever used; it's similar to a Kayfun in its layout, but with a bit more room to work in, and slightly larger mounting screws. It doesn't look a lot different, but in practice, you can feel how much easier it is, just by having a smidgen more work room and slightly larger screws.

I've heard things like, you can have fast, or you can have good, but you can't have both together. You just have to decide which is most important to you -- do you want a great vape, or an easy vape? Personally I don't find anything difficult about dry-burning/re-wicking every other day; it really beats the hell out of waiting for the mailman to bring coils, on THEIR schedule, that might or might not work, and it also beats hell out of emptying and washing ashtrays.

It may be slightly more trouble than smoking. But isn't it worth a little trouble to extend your life and good health?

Absolutely right on!

I quit smoking almost five years ago, and wrestled with the urge to relapse every day. One day a friend let me try one of his setups. I found myself almost absent-mindedly puffing on it like a cigarette. Then I realized that (1) it didn't go out like a cigarette, and I had no idea how long I'd been puffing on it and (2)--it wasn't nicotine that kept "knocking on the door"--it was the need to have an oral habit.

I have a background in electronics, and I quickly turned to the "hobby" aspect. Started doing DIY juice. But I don't want to make coils or wick them. I just don't. DIY and playing with new toys take away enough time away from my other hobbies (guitar building/repair/restoration and building aquarium ornaments).

Unlike others, I've never had a big problem with bad cartridges. I could count the bad coil heads I've received on one hand. Of course, I've only been doing this since June. I burned a lot of wicks in the process of learning how to make high VG juice wick better, though.

Ironically, I do wind my own coils for guitar pickups. It's a bit different, though, and there's no wick. They also last for decades.

I agree. I have enough hobby's. I blister pack my coils and buy juice. At first my budget was my smoking budget and have now reset it to $100 per month. I am probably using about $50 per month in supplies compared to a carton at $89 every 8 days.

I will be picking up some nic soon and have stuff to make coils but until I can make one that is better I am not going to bother to much.

I'm really angry at vapeclub.co.uk right now. I proceeded to paypal to see the conversion rates and both the site and paypal stated that I'd be able to confirm and watch my order once again before ordering. I proceeded so I could see the price and the cart they stated I could see, instead I got redirected to their site which said "thank you for your order" and got an email saying "
Order Confirmation
Your order has been recieved and is currently being processed by us."

I sent an mail right away. What am I gonna do if they send the package before they read the order?

I see the money is still on the paypal account so I'm unsure whether this was an order or not, but it said that I ordered it.
