I'm thinking of buying these and using this method to rebuild the vocc coils for my aerotank mega. Will that work?

And what can I expect after going from dual coil to single coil?

They were the ones I tried to buy but they ended it up refunding me because they could not deliver. The 1.8ohms are supposed to be in stock around now so I was watching.

I use fasttech pre-wicked coils. Not them in particular but others and I found them to be quite good and consistent. I also like silica as you can rinse and dry burn.

For me dual coils take longer to heat up which does not suit my small 2 sec vaping puffs. I prefer single they are quicker

VOCC (vertical) coils usually have cotton or rayon wrapped around the coil so I would say no it wont work.

In your situation buying a affordable RTA would make sense since wire and wick will always be available.

And by far the most economical solution.

For not that much money you could be set for years to come.

Edit: The coils in the rebuild video are not VOCC, but dual horizontal.

I would going to YouTube and watching some rebuild videos the slot for the aero coils is much longer and harder to fill
I use Pro tank coils and use a extra top silicone gasket on them been doing this for about a month now and no leaks.

Seems a bit too complicated for me at the moment, I'll just buy cheap authentic coils off of fast tech and think about it later.

The vendor I mentioned seems to offer two types of the Cerotank Mega, but I'm not sure why, as they both take the same coils.

If you do use them they have a coupon for 6% XMAS06

And only the 1.6ohm will be stocked. Just toss the enclosed coils and use your preferred ohms

While I think that it's a good idea to maybe bring awareness to those who for better words don't give a ,and may wake up when they realize they have no where to buy vaping goods except from BT. I don't think it will influence those in BG unless of course the ban causes a significant drop in taxes collected for the day.
