Okay, so my SO has since yesterday borrowed my evod glass and taken some hits now and then. She says it doesn't hit in her throat now, but complained the flavor was too weak. So I put some extra drops in the tank and the bottle, then it was a little better. And I talked with her, and she really wants to quit tobacco for vaping, but she says she doesn't believe that is something for her. But she will keep trying a little bit every day.

And I can't believe I used those evod's earlier. The airflow is so tight. Like extremely tight. Whenever I tried hers to see if something was wrong, I thought there was something wrong because of the tight draw... [emoji14]

Drill out the 3 airholes in the base to 1/16 inch. Much better.

I don't really own the equipment to "drill" out. Although, I think she prefers tighter air draw, going to ask her.

She tries mine sometimes, she thinks it's awfully strong :D

Vapez
I think that would be 1.5 mm for you. Forgot where you are. If she wants it you just need the drill bit and access to a drill.

I was going to tell him to just go buy a $15 cordless drill, 'cause every man must own at least one drill. But I bet that they are more than $15 in Norway, and I don't even think they have Lowe's there.

@Vapez -- you must save your money, buy a cheap power drill, and save your SO's life! ;)

I'm thinking that the lady probably prefers the tight draw; it's the most like cigarettes. That's why I still like it; you cannot mouth-to-lung hit with massive airflow. It's like trying to smoke a straw.

I never said she wanted more airflow, but thank you for the help anyway [emoji14]

Most tootle-puffers DON'T want more airflow, since you can't MtL hit with too much air. I'm thinking those who're drilling out their clearos need to report to the modwompers thread ASAP. :D

Heck, I hang in there just because I'm a coil-builder; I'll never be other than a tootler in terms of airflow -- MtL for me, ALWAYS. I'm trying to stay free of smoking, not huffing. ;)

@Vapez I have no idea if this relates to what she is vaping but I setup a couple of new vapers with evods on regular ego batteries. Without realising it I gave them dual coils. These coils took a bit of warming up to vapourize the eliquid properly. When that happens it was like sucking a thick shake through a small straw. Especially with their nervousness and taking small vapes. It was like a slow boil and was never going to work.

When I realised and switched them to single coils and low resistance the coils heated up quicker and were able to vapourize the eliquid enough during their vaping to satisfy them.

Well, I'm no modwhomper, but I did drill out my t3s tanks because they were way too tight - so tight I couldn't get much flavor from them. Those things are way tighter than a Kayfun or a Rose or an Erlkonigin, which I think have the perfect airflow.

Heh.. I used to block off one of the airholes on my T3S's, to get an even tighter draw. The biggest problem with that was that they tended to flood the chamber with one of the holes blocked. That was the main reason I finally said the heck with them, and started trying out slightly more high-end atties -- tried a Nautilus first, really hated it, and got a Kayfun... and never looked back to clearos. Got about 8-9 of them in a ziplock in my lower kitchen cabinet where I store my PG/VG. Just don't like 'em anymore, compared to Kayfun, Achilles, or even Magma.

I took mine out and vaped them those 5 days when I couldn't taste anything. I used juice I didn't like because I couldn't taste it anyway. I used the t3s because I didn't want to gunk up any coils in my RTAs that I would have to rewick . So once in awhile they come in handy. And I could vape them in a vapocalypse if for some reason all the tanks I now have weren't available.
