Totally wrong. It's shipped in plastic bottles -- you don't want to store it in plastic, but in dark glass, so the size of what you buy is irrelevant. It's also dumb to buy the strength you vape, since you have to add flavors anyway; if you buy low strength, you're paying top dollar for someone else's PG/VG. The BEST way to buy it is 100mg; the size of the bottle should only be dicated by 1) your budget, and 2) how many glass bottles you have in which to pour it -- I freezer-store mine in 30ml brown glass bottles, for the reason you stated -- so that once a bottle is opened, it doesn't take me long to use it up; once it's been opened and I'm using out of it, I store it in the fridge.

Some of the MFS nic is shipped in brown glass bottles.
The cheap litres come in plastic.

Lately I been using MFS because it has the best price, and its good nicotine. Nicotine is suppose to be flavorless which is why I dont get why people claim they have bought the best when paying over twice as much from another nic supplier but anyhow, the liters I get from MFS always comes in plastic bottles and I break them down into 4 250ml amber glass bottles and then freeze them. When I need nicotine I will get a bottle out, let it warm up a bit and then pour it into 3 100 ml bottles and place 2 of them back into the freezer while using one of them. It works for me.

That's exactly how I do it. Leave the litre as is until I need it. When I open the litre I Break down into 4 x 250ml then when I open a 250 I breakdown into 5 x 50. All is kept in freezer except for the current 50ml bottle in the meat department of my fridge.

Yeah...since I get the small amounts I get the brown bottles. I think (but don't hold me to it) that the brown bottles go up to the 500ml. size. I've always gotten my orders from MFS super fast, and I can pick up some other stuff there, when getting my nic, so it's convenient. I don't much like the new bottles they put their flavors (at least the TFA ones) in...the shoulders of the bottle make it hard to get that last ml. or two out. I usually get my flavors from OSDS...Good prices and also fast shipping...and better bottles.

I just can't see why you would need dark bottles for the nic inside of a freezer?
I use them too but see no real need for it since it is dark in there 99.9% of the time.

Until this last Hiliq order I have stuck with 48mg. We only vape 6-8mg so a litre dilutes to 6-8 litres of eliquid. (At least a couple of years of tootle puffing vaping for the two of us)
Yeah..when I startedl doing DIY I was using 6mg nic...worked my way down slooooowly to where I am now...which is just a bit under 2.5mg. I could go lower, but don't see a lot of reason to, right now. If the FDA lowers the hammer, I'm close enough to 0mg now that it shouldn't be too hard to ease on down, at that point. Even if I do give up the nic...I am NOT planning on giving up vaping. I need that hand to mouth thing and the habits and rituals. That is the part I can't manage to do without.

I did learn the hard way that if you are going to get coloured glass bottle do not buy cheap. I quite fancied the cobalt blue bottles and found some on fleabay at a really good price. Split some Nic out into them and the blue leeched into the Nic. Wasted 250mls. I won't do that again. I have pharmacy grade glass from here on in.

I got my "Boston Brown" (or whatever they are called) at Amazon...they were labeled as "pharmaceutical grade" so I guess they are okay. Been using them since 2012! :D

EDIT: I did "break" one. Sorta. The plastic lid got torqued down too tight and broke when I was trying to get it off. Sigh.

Nothing I want, so I don't even bother to enter.

I have met some lovely folks in the comp threads so it's just a bit of fun. I never seriously expect to win and it's just a laugh. It does leech posting from the rest of the forum and a lot of other threads go quiet :( Not that I venture too far from home.

OMG:shock: who knew it was even possible to make such scat like glass.

I only post once in the contest threads.

Oh I should mention that the cerotank is behaving beautifully.
Yay!!!! I love mine! I'm using Aspire in it now...but do have some Kangers I can use in a pinch. I just am not fond of the Kangers, tbh. Bit heavy, though. Today I had to get some blood work for the Dr. and took the Cero on my VV V3 on a lanyard around my neck. The tank is sooo heavy it tips my PV in the lanyard if I'm not careful. I guess I wasn't careful...because my PV dumped out of the lanyard twice while we were out.

Everything was okay, though. The Cero is built like a tank, and so is the iTaste. All is well that ends well! (but I WILL try to be more careful next time! Electronics and glass don't do well on asphalt parking lots!)

Oooops. I have it on a provari min and it's quite balanced (first setup on a vision spinner rolled off the table) luckily I was a contortionist is a past life and managed a diving catch just before it hit the floor. Note to self: Chiropractor visits cost more than a new tank........let it fall :p

When we go fishing I wrap a rubber band around the battery before putting it in the lanyard. It sticks in the lanyard and never falls out. Voice of experience watching my favourite battery roll through the gaps in a jetty and perform a perfect Swan dive into the ocean below. Hahaha

My New Yorker mod is 24mm and the STM I have on top is 22mm. Which is handy if I knock the mod over the tank does not hit the desktop with that honkin heavy fatter mod on it.

What you said about the nic quality -- I feel exactly the same way; I can't tell a single bit of difference between WizLabs' nicotine and the cheap TH Nicotine I get from VapersTek -- so I buy the cheap TH Nicotine; only $10 for 120ml, whereas WizLabs charges $15.99 for the same quantity. The only difference I can perceive is the color -- WizLabs' is clear, VT's is pinkish, but the taste/TH.. pretty much identical.

I'll keep using the 30ml bottles; at first, I wasn't using much nicotine because I was also adding a lot of WTA; now I don't use much WTA, so more of my nicotine is coming from the nicotine itself... but I'm down to 5.5mg, so the 30ml bottles are still my best option; I store them in the same boxes in which they're shipped, which fit perfectly in the bottom of my freezer (the side-by-side type fridge/freezer), and I stack the boxes.
