I did read that review -- outstanding job! I have to say, if I had any interest in going back to blisterpak coils, or any kind of tank, I'd give it a try, based on that review; you made it sound VERY attractive to those of us who prefer a tighter-draw, less-vaporous vape.

AND - Although there were some who viewed the post, I wasn't sure who actually did since there were very few "Likes" and/or comments following the post . . . So that's why I posted a link to it here and just in case some people who only visit here might be interested in reading about the Innokin iSub Apex Tank from an Old School "Tootle Puffer's" perspective as I mentioned earlier . . . So Again, Thanks . . .

Uncle, I read your review in the Innokin section and thought you did a great job. I'm still leery of the Apex, though, because they sent me an iSub along with the Disrupter I won. Even after getting 2 ohm coils, I still couldn't really MTL vape it, though. Maybe part of the problem was the non-removable drip tip. A smaller one might have made it better for me.

I am really curious, though, where you managed to find the 3300 mAh cells for the Disrupter. I've been looking all over the place for those.

Why - Thank "You" - for "Your" compliment too . . .

BTW: I did see that "You" viewed the post awhile ago . . .

Anyway, wish Ya' brought up "Your" issue for discussion there, especially since I had the same problem with the "Innokin iSub" that I received with the Innokin DIsruptor I Won too . . . Matter of fact, I really disliked the fact I couldn't change out the WIde Bore Drip Tip, as I mentioned in the contest thread . . . However, I found a solution that worked for "Me" that I would like to share with "You" (or anyone else) that Ya' might be interested in trying for the iSub . . . I took a Drinking straw, that I put into the hole and marked to size - then cut down just a little smaller to fit inside the hole and top with a small o-ring that fit around the straw top & inside the rim of Drip Tip to secure it . . . Which resulted in a cut back of the amount of vapor to a tighter draw for MTL hits . . . ;)

As for the Innokin iSub G & Apex tanks, "You" might be happy to know that THANKFULLY the Wide Bore Drip Tips are removable and can be replaced by a variety of other Drip Tips . . . Just as an FYI: I've been using a 510 Pyrex Glass Drip Tip which has been working very well for MTL vaping . . . :D

NOW - The Innokin 3300mAh Cell for the Disrupter . . . YEA - That is going to be a problem for Ya' right now, since they are not out on the open market for purchase yet . . . I was very lucky and actually received one as a gift . . .

If I do hear anything, especially when they are available and where - I will definitely let Ya' know . . . :D

At the time I read it, I was participating in one of the Innokin givaway threads, a disrupter and one of those Apex tanks; though I was mainly in the contest for the disrupter, after reading that review I thought that if I did win, I'd at least give that tank a try. Alas, I didn't win. :D But, since I've been using this super-gunker juice, tanks really don't work well for me, I end up wasting too much juice from the gunk darkening it, so I've moved entirely to RDA -- my Achilles of course. :) Needless to say, with the massive gunk, rebuildable coils are really the only thing that makes any kind of sense.

Thanks, Uncle. I'll try your little trick with my iSub and see if I can get a draw I like. I did like the flavor, just can't deal with sucking on a tailpipe! :D I'll definitely be interested in the Apex when they come out with the rebuild deck. I'm pretty much just using rebuildables these days. It frees me from always having to watch my stock of blister packs.

And let's hope they come out with those 3300 mAh Disrupter batteries soon. I'm really wanting some of those. :D

Now I'm going to find a solution for telling my wife that I'm going to order 10+ litres of eliquid soon. That's not going to be easy.

And need to know if she is going to continue vaping as well. It's either now or never.

If she wants to, we need to order 10Litres more, as I don't want to limit the time I can continue to vape (at a reasonably price) for 7-8 years more. Even if the regulations loosens up, it's never going to be as cheap (DIY) as it is today.

I really hope I enjoy subtank mini as I got 2 authentic coming as well as 4-6 authentic airbases with a bell cap pack (11) coming in.

There's too long shipping time to purchase one, try it, test it for a couple weeks, then order more [emoji14]

I think you'll like it. You will have to close the airflow down and use a 1.2 or 1.5 OCC coil for MTL. I know your getting into building as well so you can build your RBA section to your liking

Yes, really believe I'll like it. I've o ly used kanger's clearo's actually, and I am really satisfied with them. The evod's had a short lifetime though. But couldn't use one of those now, too tight!! The aerotank mega is good. Even the fasstech clone is just as good.

For the subtanks, I'll only use RBA. If I'm using stock coils, it'll be in reserve when I'm at places I can't easily rewick/rebuild.

Okay, I've read in another thread that there's a new RBA coil for the Nautilus and the mini out there. However, it seems to be only know in Australia and UK. Has anyone else heard of it? :)
Someone posted a link to another thread the other day, but I didn't really read it..

I just checked Lightning vapes because I had seen it on there but it looks like he's not carrying it any more or they are out of stock. Maybe you could email them and see.

Sorry choochoogranny I just reread your post and the ones that they had were a DIY coil I don't think they were a new rba coil. So maybe it's something else.

I'm thinking of buying a litre 100mg and some litres vg/pg and buy more once I need it (after TPD20 has passed). Is that safe?

I'm going lower on the nic currently for the sole reason of tpd. And Now I'm down to 8,5mg and doing fine. Down from 24mg when i started. That will also be much cheaper for future proofing budget.

@MikeyConti Received my Kayfun UnDead's this morning. I was hoping to wick them with the SS wire that was supposed to be here also but it didn't come. I'm hoping it shows up tomorrow. I'm really liking the looks and build of these. I jut hope I have a non cracking juice I can use as most of my DIY and store bought stuff will eat these tanks up!:D
