Sample I got for free from molinshop. 30ml Lambada, 70% vg @3mg. I thought that amount of nic would be far to little. Vaped it and it only since yesterday morning. It wasn't an issue at all. I loved the flavor, and I actually enjoyed not having throat hit and 9mg+ nic. I felt less addicted to vape, and i didn't vape any more than I did with higher nic. And massive clouds at 10-5w even :)

So I now went back to try a flavor I had mixed at 9mg and 60% PG. It was really harsh, and felt faar too strong, gave me a sick nic hit and a mild headache. I wanted to get back to the lambada right away.

I've always thought that it was the nic and throat hit I was so addicted of. But appearently not. It's the act of vaping/smoking that I'm craving so much. Shame that I had mixed 600ml og 8-11mg juices then.. For my next batches - 3mg and 70VG. Will make my stockpiling cheaper as well :)

I'm not exactly sure how but there is a way that you can cut what you have, and make it what you want. Maybe go to the DIY juice threads and get an answer there.
I know, but as i have 20 full bottles of 30ml (and 10 extra) it would be a hassle.

And I had recently gotten down from 15mg

Thus reinforcing the statement I've made recently, that reducing nicotine is as easy as falling off a log. I've been doing it slowly, which has been extremely easy, but apparently even faster reductions can be terrifically easy.

Unfortunately, reducing WTA is not quite as easy; even with the very-slow reduction I've been doing all year, I've had to deal with *very mild* "cigarette withdrawal" type symptoms after each drop -- nothing like the screaming horrible withdrawal of cold-turkey quitting, but still annoying. It's gotta be the way that MAOIs keep the brain chemicals working at optimum levels, and when you remove or reduce the MAOIs, it's not so optimal.

I guess that's why it's been so easy for to lower the nic. Wife says "If you had a single brain cell in your head you'd be dangerous!!":lol:

I feel that way about my husband sometimes. :D But, as I constantly remind him, if he was dumb, I'd never have stayed married to him for this long, he'd have bored me within months if not weeks. :D Annoying he may sometimes be, but boring? Never. :D

Could you explain those shorters?

I believe it has all been psychological. About the nic and TH.

Ummm... have no idea what you're asking? The nic, yes, I think it's *almost* entirely psychological. The TH, that's just a preference, and preferences are always subject to change. But, I've reduced my nic by nearly 50% now, but still need the TH to be satisfied -- so I add more Flash.

WTA is whole tobacco alkaloids. MAOIs are monoamine oxidase inhibitors; they occur naturally in tobacco, and since they are alkaloids, they also occur in WTA. The two specific MAOIs in tobacco are harman and norharman.

Possibly. I think it depends on the person and their "chemical makeup"...how they are wired. I discovered early on in my vaping journey that the problem addiction I had was only marginally the nic. I never really had much in the way of cigarette withdrawals at all, except some mild anxiety (which likely was just going to happen anyway, at my age) and a little fuzzy headed feeling sometimes in sunlight. Which could have been anything. Anyway, it didn't last enough for me to even note it's passing, really. So reducing nic was easy peasy for me. What I cannot do and keep my sanity is give up the ACT of vaping/smoking. The hand to mouth thing, the rituals, the security of having something in my hand that isn't food, yet I can savor. I currently am vaping 2.25mg and have been for around a year +/- I guess. I could easily drop to 0...but just don't feel like it. I hear nicotine is good for the memory of aging brains. I could use some of that!! ;)
