Graphic Arts.
She has been involuntarily committed to a mental hospital 4 times.
got a new shrink not familiar with her history and he lowered her med dosage.
She will get up and drink 6 cup of instant coffee and then go wild. I just threw out all the coffee in the house and I will not bring any more back. She also carries a hatchet and hammer when outside because someone is going to get her.
Maybe she will kill me and I will get some relief.

Good lord. Sounds like one of those who need to be confined, not for her own safety, but society's! But of course "society" is too busy paying for stupid crap like trying to prove that e-cigs are dangerous, than to worry about the mentally ill who might actually be dangerous. I think I'd be fitting out a padded room for her to live in, complete with padded manacles.

Contrary to what you might think, most people with bipolar disorder spend most of their affected time on the down side of the spectrum and mania doesn't have to present as most people believe it to.
Bipolar is what my SIL's main diagnosis is...
And mania is for sure present. Just poured out 2 jars of instant coffee and a 3 lb can of regular coffee.

coffee to her is like giving a jug of rum to an alcoholic.

My mania manifests in far differing ways....lol

Although, I can see myself pouring out that coffee. It's freshly ground beans or nothing in this house....lol

But, but, but, Andria, you are S-M-R-T!!!!!! :D

All kidding aside, it is frightening to see what people do and don't know (regardless of education level....) "Book-smart" doesn't always equate to "common sense"....

And there is nothing COMMON about sense.

Unfortunately all too true. Not the part about me; I've never really thought I was that smart -- serious lack of that "common sense" thing while growing up. But I do like to read, and I know how to pay attention -- which is weird, considering how I've struggled with ADD! But never have gone to college -- was much too busy with sex & drugs & rock 'n roll. :D

I have my own difficulties today... my stepfather again, this time a bad fall. He went to the ER last night, nothing broken, but I fear he's got a slipped disc. Considering how he has to care for my wheelchair-bound mom, that's a serious problem.

How 'bout a round of WTA for the whole thread! :w00t:

Pretty much. dual coils no way to shut off the other side airflow. You can use the driptip adapter and use a regular driptip vs the chuff style it comes with.
But you need to run them at about 20+ watts from what I have experienced on my mini.

You can do moderate watts on it but a tootle puffing rig it is not.
I've tried a few different builds on the Velocity. You can tighten down the airflow pretty well, but I don't like a super-tight draw. I have a Boden-inspired 1.4ohm, 30g parallel build in one, and I don't run it over 20W (been a bit since I've used it, so I don't remember what setting I liked) I also have dualies in another one ringing in around 0.7 ohms.

I just really like it because the build deck is huge, and it has a nice, deep well so I don't have to drip as often. I also have BF pins so I can use it on my Smokeless Owl and VF Squonk Clone.

Grabbed a Mini Velocity, too - that's a spiffy little dude, and I like it as well....
Thank you, both. That was close. I had the Velocity in my cart because I had heard people raving about it. But, I am a fairly extreme Tootle Puffer. Never, ever over 9 W. Always MTL.

South African is an odd one; Afrikaans is a descendant of Dutch, so there's a bit of that sound; most of them seem to learn English from a British-speaker, so they get that sound too -- so sort of a cross between a Dutch and British accent. Afrikaans-speakers and Dutch-speakers can probably discern that the root accent isn't actually Dutch, but that's how it sounds to *my* ears.

The defining moment in recognizing one from Africa South is the use and pronunciation of the article. A SA person will most normally pronounce the word "the" as an we would, as in 'the book'. When we use an article preceeding a word beginning with a vowel (apple, for example), we pronounce "the" as "thee". "Thee" apple, ya? A South African will say THE apple (the, as in the book).

That aside, ... Hi I'm known here as MorelyMagicMist, my first name is Benjamin or Ben for short, you may call me George, Joe, Frank, Sam, the big Papa dog, big ole hairy ugly one, "hey you", etc.. Do not though call me late for a meal. :) I am here to admit what is my wee vaping heart. I am a ... tootlepuffer at heart. Now, understand I'm not one for a lot of bling bling. I just like stuff what works well enough, serves what it's to do.

Been finding this out this morning. Got the new 30 watt! Hero mod. What am I doing?

Vaping around 8 - 12 watts on coils running from 1.5 to 2 ohms in a cheap tank and I'm liking it, a lot. :) So, there I am and where I go is there. ;) That isn't to say I may not do a bit of mild sub ohm vaping, or crank up the watts once in a while. It just says I'm alright to being a vaper, being myself, being free of tobacco. :) Thanks for the encouragement and being good comrades. That has made the journey bearable and do-able.

Welcome, BenGeorgeJoeFrankSam. Sit a spell and Tootle with us. :)

Uh, cause they're not well known?

As said, I tumbled to my first surfing Fastech, liked the specs and figured "why not add it to the stash box?" Well, it and it's companion never made it to the stash box, both in regular rotation!

Have the gold - really pretty! - and the "white" which is more brushed steel looking, not white at all. But sharp looking. Neighbor, after seeing mine, got the black, and it's gorgeous. Not flat or even gloss black, more like a shimmering black.

Keep telling myself "you don't need another... you don't need another....."

Here they are, flanked by a couple Cloupor Minis. Steel looks better with a stainless KF :)

For a while there I forgot one of my moto's. If you're not happy with what you are doing, STOP IT!
Since I do not like rebuilding, I have decided to up my budget for the month to buy more coils.
After today's order of 25 more pt2 coils I will have over 7 years worth without even dry burning.
With my 5% or less flavoring, I should be good for at least 10 years.
I doubt my body will hold up that long anyway.

Thx for this!!! You've probably discerned from my various pedantic posts on the subject that I am fascinated, if not downright obsessed! over anything to do with language and speech :D -- so this is a VERY valuable tidbit, as I've not had much opportunity to listen to those from S. Africa. Thx very much!!! :thumb:
