A couple of times back in the early 80's.
Had a really good time which make my memory a bit blurry on details.
;)

Remember the narrow pointed building and the hydro busses.
Ah yes, the early 1980's. My favourite decade...I think...I don't remember much about it. Clubs, booze, dancing, staying up til the wee hours. Now I get up at the time I was heading to bed back then.

Can't think of the "narrow pointed building". Oh! The Trans America building. Wait! - you were in San Fran!

..."wasn't that a party". ;)

Screw the "warsh" and "hooose". We're having a food fight!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAY!

keith...... bring on the Digestives! Some good ole good Marmite, and some dripping toast! Perhaps a Scotch egg and some (ummm)... Spotted Dick?

(tee hee. wonder if the ECF will disallow THAT food...) ;)

My husband is from Missouri by way of Kentucky... he said warsh when I first met him, but after living down here in Hotlanta for 25 yrs, he has dropped the R and now says WASH!

    I don't remember.
This is how I spent the 80s.

Narrow like a wedge of cheese on it's side. Not pointy on top.

But you're walkin' on thin ice, caro mio. ;) :danger:

It's SAUCE, and only SAUCE. You put gravy on the pasta and welp, la famiglia Corleone gonna hav-a un problema.

(The Sauce-Gravy war might just last longer than any war in the herstory of womankind!)

Proud to be a Sicilian, kiddo.

Yeah, nevermind all the "Peachtree" roads in ATL, I'm pretty sure GA grows and sells more peanuts than peaches. :D Goober is DEFINITELY a GA thing, but I guess all over the south.

    Andria

I thought goobers came from the chocolate covered peanuts you got at the movies - they are called, unsurprisingly, Goobers!
