Just looking at your banner, @Atchafalaya

1298 cigs avoided in 34 days?

How many packs a day did you go through??

Are you a diesel train? :pervy:o_O

Jay :headbang:

I smoked 50 on a good day and more on a bad day. My count is just over 72,000 avoided. Gobsmackingly large pile of butts

I used to smoke 2 packs a day. Started vaping 2.5 years ago and went down to 5 a day for the past year. Came down with a severe respiratory infection and quit altogether. Even though I only smoked (and vaped( 5 per day, I wanted credit for 2 packs a day. Dag nabbit! lol Smoked for 33 years

Yeah... at the time I actually quit (the first time!), it was the dead of winter, and I was only smoking 1/2-3/4pk a day, but for many years, my "average" was about a pack a day.

But before I started taking it outdoors in 1997, it was 3.5 pks a day.

I hear ya. I used to wake up a few times a night and smoke. Man.
Think I would have quit the cigs sooner if people around me hadn't picked on me so much about vaping. Now, I really don't care what they think. I don't smoke anymore.

Too funny! That really is a coincidence. I'm really about an hour from Austin, but beer/coffee sounds good!

I know exactly what you mean! That's why I have a Rose, a Kayfun, a Taifun GT, and a Taifun GS I haven't even gotten around to trying yet. :D
Very Nice!

I have 2 Roses as my daily drivers, a bit of a PiTA to coil and wick but a top contender for flavor. Five Kayfuns float in and out of rotation, the Taifun GS was never in stock on FT so I picked up the GS II and it is an excellent little RTA.

There is a Hotcig Taifun GT-S V2 in the FT wish list now, along with The Stumpy RDA and a Nectar Mini. I need a two post RDA to do a TC build on for the eVic VTC Mini and both of those fit the bill. :D

I was writing a lot at the time, and ALWAYS had one in the ashtray; sometimes one in an ashtray in 2-3 rooms, while I carried another one around. :D The way I knew it was time to light another was... I put one out!

My husband used to give me crap about that in the truck/car -- "You just put one out!" "Yeah, that's how I knew it was time to light another!" :D

And actually... I'm just about certain that my non-attendance at AA began when all the meetings became smoke-free. I go to AA about drinking, I don't need the nannies telling me I can't smoke -- unfortunately, state law apparently trumps rationality even for those trying to overcome a deadly disease (alcoholism). I dunno their policy on vaping -- I haven't been to a meeting since I started vaping!

But I've been sober for 23 yrs, so they can kiss it. If they ever think I might have something to contribute to the group's knowledge... they'll have to hold the meeting outdoors.
