Okay..since others have been forthcoming...I clicked my laptop over to my handy camera and took a quick selfie just now. Mind..I'm a bit of a mess. And you can clearly see that I'm fond of my PV, because I am clinging to it, even in the picture! The laptop camera isn't particularly kind, I'm afraid. And usually I wear my hair up...but I've been lazy this morning so haven't fixed my hair. (In my defense I'm on telephone watch...husband is in the hospital again, and I've been hovering).

Used a credit card, SNM. I'm a cash kind of a gal so ordering online is new for me. My partner orders online all the time so I figured I'd follow suit. It was easy peasy!

Once I'd made up my mind to order the device (I hummed and hawed forever) I decided on credit card mostly because the e-transfer option meant the order wouldn't be prepared/shipped until payment had been received. I've received payment previously via e-transfer and had problems. I was too excited to get the ball rolling on my order so opted for payment with credit card.

I hope it all turns out. I'll let you know!

:)

interac is straightforward. The supplier doesn't get your banking details so It is secure. Keeping that in mind I don't keep a lot of money in the account I use for doing this. I also have paypal linked to that account.

I started going grey at 25.

Thank-You Both !!!
I'm a cash buyer myself.About 8 or so years back I had a real bad experience having to electronically wire some Money to England to get some medical supplies.I filled out the forms at my bank and they went ahead and wired the money to the Med.Supply Co,three weeks later I get an Email from the Med Supply company in England saying we haven't recieved payment yet in our account.I almost crapped myself as it was around $400. worth of stuff and I NEED to do business with this company.

I called my bank and they said we dunno where your money is.I ended up getting International postal orders and mailing it off to them registered mail.
By the time the original payment monies were back in my account it was 3 months later and $80. dollars lighter and no one would fess up to a mistake so.....I ended up swallowing the missing 80 dollars.

Ever since I've been really leary/paranoid about sending any kind of money anywhere.
Things have changed since then and I'm really tempted to try purchasing via the internet.

On the hair thing,I had goldy-locks wavey light brown hair that went half way down my back, started getting grey in my mid 30's I think and in my 40's I kept getting it cut progressively shorter.Nowadays,my thin straight hair is all grey and sheared to one quarter inch in length,no fuss no muss, get up in the morning and ready to go. :)

Yikes, that IS frightening! I can see how that experience would make you shy away from ordering online.

Received my tracking number yesterday morning. Expected delivery date is Monday. Weeeeeee!

I'd reveal my tired mug as well but I do everything from my phone and can't seem to figure out how to post pics here (Plus, I don't want to frighten the group).
I don't use a phone to post (would you believe our cell is one of those ancient style flip tops? lol! It's true! We are not part of the cellphone culture at all. We won't even text!) but I assume you should be able to upload a picture by clicking on the "upload a file" button next to the post reply button. Shouldn't you?

Wellll, you're probably right. I'm a bit of a technophobe and even on my best days I have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time!

I'll give it a go though :)

I was thinking about upgrading to one of those phones. But never did.

Best wishes for you husband.
