I look at Provari like I look at NudeNic. Your paying for the hype. Sure its a good quality mod but so are many others that are just as good if not better for a lot cheaper. If I need a Provari to sit at the cool kids table then its not really a cool kids table but a smug kids table. Just sayin......
(plus I dont want a mod that looks like a womans bedside toy)

I like women's bedside toys. I like tube mods better than box mods. Feels more comfortable to hold, imho.

Really, though, there are fewer and fewer tube mods that aren't mechs and aren't pieces of crap. Most (except for the sealed battery types) are also too heavy and won't vape at resistances below 1 ohm. Which wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't becoming more and more difficult to find coil heads over 2 ohms.

The Coolfire 1 that crapped out after 3 days had a lower resistance limit of 2 ohms. The Zmax will go down to 1.5 ohms, and absolutely will not work with the Kanger 1.2 ohm ("high resistance") Subtank coils.

The new Provaris will go down to 0.5 ohms, low enough to adapt to the ever changing world of vaping. They're also flexible as to what batteries you can use in them. At least on the 2.5 and 2.5 mini.

It's worth it to me at this point to have something reliable that I won't have to worry about, and doesn't have the paperweight-like qualities of my one box mod (eVic VT).

If you can show me a VV or VW mod that is as reliable and maintenance free as my 4 year old Provari 1 I'll buy it today.

I think someone moved my house to Seattle, I have not seen the sun in 6 days. The forecast says I might see it on Sunday.
Miserable weather!

It went straight to hot over here. We are expecting over 30c over the next few days. :(

I don't know about over there but provari's are not cool any more over here. That's why they are cheap. I like them and I have never bought gear on hype. If I like something that feels comfy and that I can actually fire without hurting my hands then I buy more of the same but in different colours,

Having said that the EPM puts me firmly on the cool kids table. The sexiest piece of gear I own.

"ever changing vaping world" can also mean that in one year, no one can imagine why anybody would want to vape at 0,5 Ohm ... :p
Who knows. Evolution is a funny thing.
Which brings up an interesting question. What if the future of vaping goes towards high resistance/high voltage/low power? The Provari will be there to take on those 5ohm atomizers with 6V, yielding the 7.2 watts needed to blow competition clouds.

Havent been vaping for 4 years so that would be hard to do, but I do have an Istick thats one year old without a single problem from it and a Vamo thats a year old without a problem. My Istick 30 is 11 months old and never had a problem from it. Have a subtank mini on it at the moment. In three years I might be able to tell you if they are still problemless.
From all the mods I have, and I have a lot of them, the only problem from any of them is my Istick 50 started auto firing and died, and one of my IPV4's wont upgrade. The rest have been bulletproof for me and they all get a lot of usage, and abuse.
