Which brings up an interesting question. What if the future of vaping goes towards high resistance/high voltage/low power? The Provari will be there to take on those 5ohm atomizers with 6V, yielding the 7.2 watts needed to blow competition clouds.

Do you want to know a secret ;)

I have spent the last year and more making our vaping bullet and vapaghedden proof. vaping can go whichever direction it wants and I won't care because I will be firmly planted in my current patch of gear. So if it appears I am a fangirl of anything other than the colour purple then I have led you astray. I am a fan of what works for us.

Havent been vaping for 4 years so that would be hard to do, but I do have an Istick thats one year old without a single problem from it and a Vamo thats a year old without a problem. My Istick 30 is 11 months old and never had a problem from it. Have a subtank mini on it at the moment. In three years I might be able to tell you if they are still problemless.
From all the mods I have, and I have a lot of them, the only problem from any of them is my Istick 50 started auto firing and died, and one of my IPV4's wont upgrade. The rest have been bulletproof for me and they all get a lot of usage, and abuse.
Sorry I didn't mean that to be a challenge. I was wondering if you knew of a mod/mod maker that has been in production for several years that has the same flawless reputation, warranty, customer service as Provari/Provape.

I see them like a Honda Accord or Toyota Hilux, they just work.

The cool kids remark was very tongue in cheek ;)

Being "Cool" is the last thing anyone here is conserened with.

It must be early. I just realised we were talking about cool kids. Hahahaha
Tootle puffing gear is not quite discussed in open conversation. As I glance across the table to all my "Carto Tanks"

I don't know about over there but provari's are not cool any more over here. That's why they are cheap. I like them and I have never bought gear on hype. If I like something that feels comfy and that I can actually fire without hurting my hands then I buy more of the same but in different colours,

Having said that the EPM puts me firmly on the cool kids table. The sexiest piece of gear I own.
Plus a bazillion sweets. I have a favorite mod and he/she is named EPM.
I think I want a Reo..:2cool:

I like women's bedside toys. I like tube mods better than box mods. Feels more comfortable to hold, imho.

Really, though, there are fewer and fewer tube mods that aren't mechs and aren't pieces of crap. Most (except for the sealed battery types) are also too heavy and won't vape at resistances below 1 ohm. Which wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't becoming more and more difficult to find coil heads over 2 ohms.

The Coolfire 1 that crapped out after 3 days had a lower resistance limit of 2 ohms. The Zmax will go down to 1.5 ohms, and absolutely will not work with the Kanger 1.2 ohm ("high resistance") Subtank coils.

The new Provaris will go down to 0.5 ohms, low enough to adapt to the ever changing world of vaping. They're also flexible as to what batteries you can use in them. At least on the 2.5 and 2.5 mini.

It's worth it to me at this point to have something reliable that I won't have to worry about, and doesn't have the paperweight-like qualities of my one box mod (eVic VT).

Just want to mention that the Innokin SVD 2.0 can fire .5 ohm coils. It's a tube mod and very reliable and a lot less than a Provari. I actually found some on sale for around $20 a couple months ago, but they are generally in the $40-$50 range. I'm not going to bash Provaris - I know they are very reliable mods - just not my style.
