Thought about getting 1-2 today, but of course I forgot that alcohol is illegal to buy om sundays. On other days, alcohol is illegal to sell after 6pm..

While it was not the main reason why I moved from Scandinavia to the U.S.A., It certainly does not hurt to be able to get my Beer pretty much whenever I want to :)

@Robert Cromwell - I'm so sorry to have heard about your wifey's accident. How are you both doing? Sending hugs and prayers your way!
Still waiting on her leg to stabilize enough for reconstructive surgery. Hopefully in the morning.

I hope that all goes well! My wife shattered her ankle 2 years ago. 2 plates and 9 screws. It was a tough go for about a year but Thank God all is well now. Prayers are with her!

I just discovered I'm actually a tootle womper. I was tootle puffing my Reo with an RM2 built to about .8 ohms, but I just got an istick tc40W with an Aspire Triton tank and I discovered I like mod womping it rather than tootle puffing it. Can I contribute still?:blush:

Water instead of anything containing caffeine. Slow carbohydrates and no sugar or bread. No alcahol at all.

Learned this doing rescue work.

Dabnabit Boden, flush the party down the drain before it even had a chance to get started!!!!

You just had to point that out, didn't you.

Sorry, I'm so tired and the spelling protection in my head is malfunctioning. What I was trying to say was citizens of the united states of America! Although I bet you understood what I meant anyway.

Why isn't coffee boosting my body? Wish there were some kind of magic energy boost product. I need a body boost. My lovely 4 month old preferes to be awake at night, and sleep during the day unfortunately for me. On top off taking care of my "lay-in-bed-sick" SO, all the undone house work (why does it never end!? I clean up everything, after 1 hour it's just as bad again) + a couple major exams at school.

I'm just really burnt out, any tips and tricks you know of? :)

Keep the baby up VERY late, and feed the baby late too... it will help he/she (you didn't specify I don't think) to learn to sleep later. Worked great for my son; he started sleeping till 9am when he was 3mos old, because I wouldn't put him to bed till 2am. :D

Also, never walk around whispering while the baby is sleeping; the baby needs to get used to the actual sounds in your home, and if you go around being quiet while the child sleeps, then the slightest noise will disrupt that blessed slumber.

We were so lucky, our daughter slept thru the nights like nothing.

When we were first married, hubby's sister lived with us while her hubby went through three months basic training in the army. She had a 6month old little girl and it wiped out any maternal instinct I had.

That 3 months was the worst experience.

Our boy was listening to loud rock n roll while still in utero, so it wasn't a huge change for him to hear it thru the walls after he was born. He always slept thru it.

There was a brief period, when our son was about 3 wks old and just screamed every minute he was awake, when I wanted to take him back to the hospital and tell them to fix him, he's broken. :D Mercifully it didn't last too long. :D

I hear that! I hate to admit it, and don't get me wrong...I love my grandson, but I can't deal with him and his mother (my daughter) staying at our house more than a few hours, anymore. In 2013 daughter came to live with us with our then 9 month old grandson, her two dogs and her cat. They stayed 7 months while her husband was at Army Officer training. It was a nightmare. Her hormones were apparently raging, and she was going through the "insecure first time mother" thing. The baby was let to run wild. He started walking at 10 months and proceeded to destroy or try to destroy everything he could get his hands on. Plus screaming a LOT. Dogs also allowed to roam wild...chewed up some stuff. Daughter, meanwhile was either reading "Game of Thrones" or on her iPhone. Okay, that is a little unfair. She did do the groceries and cook dinners for us. And she did have fits of helping clean the house. But it was rough. My husband was in the hospital for a time during that time...and I'm disabled. I swore I would never go through that sort of torture ever again. I love my daughter and the grandkids...but they aren't staying here anymore. When they came to visit last summer they stayed in a hotel. My children are grown up and my house is not child-proof. They are just going to have to deal. (I'm such a meany aren't I!)
