Basically the same except a chimney is wicked on the outside.

I found this pic. I think the wicking is excessive but basically right.

Okay, I'll try that. I built one of my Roses that way (without so much wick, though).

Happiness is an inside job, if someone is waiting for others to make them happy ... they might be in for a very long wait.
I CHOOSE to be happy .................. and others can't stop me from being happy.

Thoughts ALWAYS precede emotions.

I can't feel bad about the people who died in the flooding in Texas until I hear (TV, phone call, etc.) about it => thought => emotion.

Since I'm the one who determines my thoughts...I'm the one who determines my emotions.

And...I take TOTAL (100%) responsibility for my thoughts/emotions while assigning NO (0%) responsibility to other people (or things).

A flat tire can't upset me...but I can upset myself over having a flat tire. (If I do...since I don't like the feeling of being upset...I'll start thinking of how incredibly lucky I am to even have a tire/car, how wonderful it is not to be blind...and...that it's so fun to even be alive!!!)

A driver who aggressively cuts in front of me can't make me angry...but I could make myself angry over it. (If I do...since I don't like wasting my time on anger...I'll start thinking of how great it is being with my delightful GF, what a fantastic radio station I have on...and...that it's so fun to even be alive!!!)

My GF can't make me feel happy when I'm around her...I make myself feel happy when I'm around her. (That, obviously, takes all the "pressure" off of her.) (And...should she no longer be around [beyond the 35 years we've already been living together]...that would be OK...since I was only doing it to myself...and I can then make myself happy over someone else!!!)

Of course...YMMV...

My Radius is now on its way back to Provape. They're going to make Boden send me his because they know that one works.

My wife doesn't even vape, and she was disappointed that it didn't work (for those of you who missed it, I got my Radius from Provape last week and it was DOA). She thinks it looks really cool. I can hardly wait to actually use it.

Better not mention this in any of the Provari threads. They think only OTHER mods arrive DOA!

Good Luck!

For the price of that Radius...
I would have chosen a Lavabox, Whiteout or Boxer Mod which are all DNA200 devices. I don't have any Provari's so I can't fully grasp the joy that they bring. :pervy:

First I look at the air port, the coil should be smaller than the airstream hitting it. If the coil is too wide (OD) the side away from the air port will over heat and add a burnt/off flavor. If it is too long the outside wraps will overheat.

Now that I have a size to build i'll choose from spaced, bowed, contact, chimney, horizontal, vertical coil types.

(A chimney coil could work well in the Taifun) @Oregon Linda

Then using the smallest usable wire figure out the configuration that will cover the surface area of wick I want and be in the resistance range the power supply can handle for the power required. Single wire, parallel wire(s), etc.
Cheers mate :) Useful design philosophy. My favourite designs use horizontal coils with the wick/s hanging out in the eLiquid with no membranes restricting flow.

You are now the stuff of legend. They will tell tales of the one person to receive a DOA Provari.

Your name will be lost but the legend will live in infamy.

Which puts me right into the "tragi-comedic" category. May be why my gallows humor is so well developed! SO has finely tuned gallows humor too...we crack each other up.

Well I have to tell everyone that Provape has already shipped me a replacement Radius via one day priority mail. They didn't even wait for proof that I had mailed the return.

Try to get that sort of customer service from...well really just about any other manufacturer in this business.

Provape's products aren't for everybody, for sure. They're not in the high power/low resistance game. They're for vapers who don't mind paying a premium for a high quality product that also has almost great ergonomics, and entirely manufactured in the US.

I still want a Black P3 for use with some of my Kayfuns! Can you change the top cap on the 2.5s to a more rounded cap that comes on the P3's? I see they sell spare Ring Caps just wondering if their universal..

Today, my aerotank started leaking/gurgling a lot... Why can I never have a tank without leaking? My cigalike leaked...my evod leaked...my evod glass v2 leaked...now my aerotank leaks...
Find out what caused it to leak?

@Vapez With all the kanger tanks, it's important to reinstate negative pressure after opening and closing the tank. After you've filled your tank for instance, you must take a few puffs. If your coil is not yet saturated enough to take real puffs, than puff them without firing. This is a granite rule with kanger tanks, if you don't want them to leak. I've only once had one leak, but then I flooded the coil ;) And make sure all o-rings are in good shape and where they should be.

As for the tough times, hang in there, they'll pass eventually. Either that, or you'll get used to them which won't feel as bad as they do now. Enjoy your little one while she's still little, soon some sluggish, pimpled 16-year old will be ringing your doorbell for her :)

The Radius is for Tootle Puffing quality. Wanting to have a DNA200 instead is really not in the same category.

I always find this discussion so funny. It's not just vaping that have the same mass made vs crafted. Hubby is a woodworking hobbiest as some of you will know....... you should see the variation between woodworking tool prices. He takes one look at my vaping gear and goes for broke. :p
