Well, just like a good wine you have to age tobaccos ... the slower the better (especially if you have steeped them from leaf) ;)

That's why I'm not even going to try this until 3 wks; it may still need longer, I think I let the other one steep about 6 wks, but 3 wks should be long enough to at least let me know if it's going to turn out well or not.

I mostly don't really care much for tobacco flavors anymore; that strawberry & cream I make seems to be my forever ADV. :D But now and then... I get a hankering for something a little less dessert-like. Which is weird since those hankerings usually hit right after a meal! I think it's a vestige of the old smoke-after-dinner thing.

I know what you mean. I keep looking for a perfect after dinner tobacco vape, but still haven't found one. The rest of the time I don't even touch tobaccos any more.

Except for a 3 month period where I went nuts over a Blackfire, Cream and Butterscotch mixture, I've only used tobaccos. All the ones I have bought, including concentrates, were crap. Since extracting from leaf (steeping), I haven't looked back. Some good ideas in the DIY tobacco forum if that's your bent ;)

xxx = name escapes me ATM :(
ETA: I remembered :p

I have done a lot of experimenting with tobacco DIY. Some are great ADV's while others are great occasionally and then there are some that are just plain nasty. Tobacco does need a serious steep of usually 3 weeks but the process can be sped up in various ways. If your looking for a flavor that tasted like what you use to smoke, good luck. They have additives that can give it an ashy taste or a harsher throat hit but the flavor of an actual smoke is hard to make.
Now if your looking for the flavor of the way various tobacco's smell, there is a ton of them out there. One of my favorites is a Latakia which is based off a tobacco from cyprus which is smoked cured. It takes a good three week steep for the smokiness to be sensed in the vape but its a very good tobacco vape to me. Others like Highway have a grassy leaf tobacco flavor and then there is the turkish and arabica tobacco flavors that I find enjoyable. Then they have the RY4's which are a creamy caramelish type vape thats enjoyable. It all depends on what your looking for if a tobacco vape is for you or not.
