I use the KISS method to make juice.

I swiped a Pyrex measuring cup and a Kerr pint jar from the kitchen.
50ml of 100mg nicotine/PG
150ml of PG
200ml of VG
_________________________
400ml of 12mg 50/50 PG/VG base liquid.

I then add 1 (one) drop of flavor concentrate/1 (one) ml of base when I fill 30ml bottles for use.
That would take all the fun out of it for some. What would they do with their syringes or scales?

Well I did say it was the KISS method
At least I use a big ole irrigation syringe to fill my 30ml bottles. ;)

The trick is the quantity of juice you're making. If all you mix up if a 10ml bottle, you have to be damn accurate. When you mix up 400ml of vape base, you won't ever notice if you are off by a ml.

I premix my PG/VG but no nic because I mix 2 different strengths.
I used to use the drop method and then got flavoring in bottles with no dropper in it.... Had to measure my drops and convert to ML. I use syringes now to measure flavorings and nic but just use a medicine syringe (10 ml) to top it off with 50/50.
And all drops are not created equal and it is NOT 20 drops/ml. Might be for straight VG but not for anything else.

I like to also keep it as simple as possible. Thats why I like doing it by scales. Last night I mixed up 6 10ml samples of new flavors and it might of took me all of 10 minutes. Cleanup was rinsing out one pipette. Cant get much simpler than that.

Soooooo...I've been trying some diy-ing. I'd put that off because it always seemed like a hassle and because of all the math and note-taking involved (not my thing)...
I need some help, cause I like to do stuff the most efficient way (and cause I'm lazy). I made a couple of bottles of base, each 10mls, 50/50. Btw, I don't care if that ratio is a little off. Then I needed to add flavours (single-flavour liquids being the goal). Is there a calculator that will calculate how much flavour to add to 10mls of ready-made base?
Is it the wrong way to go about this diy stuff?
This isn't the same site I used when I first started DIYing a few years ago...but it works the same, so hopefully you will find it useful. http://..................../create

Thnx everybody! I'll check that calculator out. Being able to save recipes might come in handy too, since I am bad at keeping records. I just hope to find a few flavours that I like, so I don't have to get all complicated. I'd hate to have to spend half my precious evenings having to clean all my DIY parafernalia...:(
I don't use pure nicotine yet, but might add some to my vapocalypse stash. My nic-base is 36mg/ml which I mix down to 6mg/ml-ish. 36mg/ml is a level I'm comfortable with, cause there's such a large margin for error ;)

I use 3 ml pipettes to fill my unicorn bottles.
I seldom clean my pg/vg syringe just leave it stuck in the "korc" atop a bottle of pg/vg mix.
I use a 1 ml syringe for nic and a different one for flavorings.
For flavorings that I just add a drop or two of I use a 1 ml pipette.

    Here is one for yall.

    You are driving a bus.

At the first stop six people get on and two people get off.

The next stop ten people get on and four people get off.

Bus goes to the next stop and 12 people get on and no one gets off.

And at the last stop, one person gets on and 5 get off.

What color is the bus drivers eyes :D

Purple, because aliens don't wear hats?

Ol' hippies are in their 60's and 70's now. Not exactly the age to have spawned a 20ish yo with such limited knowledge.

We understood the benefits and consequences of what we were fighting for and took parenting seriously as adults.

    ~ An Old Hippie

Back to your regularly scheduled tootle puffing.

Pretty much true; my husband is almost 63, and he was very definitely a hippie, though in the later phase (more drugs than free love! :D). Our son is 27, and has a very strong work ethic. I complimented him on that once, and he said "well of course I do, I saw Dad going to work everyday unless he was calling in DEAD." :D For a while he had a hard time finding a job, and really needed food stamps, to help us (he was living with us, and we were having a VERY hard time, with my husband on short hours (2010-2011)), but I think it really bugged him to have to accept them, even though it was to help pay his way at home.

Avail Vapor "Phoenix" - a dragonfruit flavor that's not overpoweringly sweet.

502 e-liquid "Cowboy Red" - this is my go to tobacco flavor.

I finished the guitar around 3 this am. I switched to cola flavor at about 1 or so. It's refreshing!

Yes, it's ugly, the tailpiece, bridge and pickup are all crooked, and it's put together with some--unconventional--methods. All of which is on purpose. Last year, I made a replica of Eddie Van Halen's "Frankenstrat" for a friend. The other night, I decided to build a sloppy looking partscaster of my own, using leftover parts from other projects.

I started it Tuesday night. I'm taking it to band tonight. The fastest I've ever built a guitar. Despite that and its looks, it plays like a dream. I like thin necks (I have small hands), and this is the second thinnest I've built (0.77" at the first fret). I finish my necks with tung oil and paste wax instead of varnish, and they feel really slick in your hand.

Here's the Frank that I built for my friend. It's the one in the middle.

I gotta go puff and practice now.

There is nothing wrong with receiving assistance when its needed. People fall on hard times and need a helping hand. The problem is so many think of it as a way of life, like they are entitled to having the tax payers support them for life. The only people entitled are the retired ones collecting social security and our veterans and the disabled ones who cant support themselves.
The reason your son had a hard time accepting assistance is because of pride, which shows that you and your husband raised a man. That is something thats not taught but he picked up from following the example you and your hubby provided for him and in my opinion is very admirable.

I too use a 3ml pipette for nicotine, and have a 60ml squeeze bottle on the shelf for VG.
Like the 6 10ml samples I mixed last night. Put an empty bottle on the scale and dripped 11 drops of nicotine which was .31 grams in each bottle. Then using the squeeze bottle put 11.61 grams of VG in each bottle. Then .5 grams of flavor in each. Less than 10 minutes later, done. Mixing by weight is that simple.

Daughter is growing teeth at the moment. Been awake for the whole day almost. She is so tired and it's been a long day.

Although, I think I figured out my exhaustion/tiredness problem. I bought a lot of vitamines, and some pills from the drug store. Been taking them daily for a week now. Today, I've had energy to do stuff. My body feels much lighter, I've been in a top mood and I could to house work and go to the grocery store without being totally exhausted and tired. Feels great. Haven't felt that great in months! I'm so happy right now. My head still hurts though..A lot. But to have excess energy is just...amazing. It's like I'm in top shape!

Puffing away on my nectarine peach juice. Daughter finally managed to fall asleep and I put her in the bed. I'll stay up for half an hour to see if she'll keep sleeping. I also think she is beginning to laugh. Thought I heard something earlier when I had fun with her :)

    How's your day been, tootlers?

Back to your regularly scheduled tootle puffing.

I was drawing a comparison to the age of the Hippie, I understand they are not the off spring of them. And by the way I am the off spring of 2 Hippies and I could be no farther from that life style. I don't know your life story and you don't know mine.
I know I won't get anywhere with my rants but they are mine just the same, as well as your thoughts being yours.
So let's just agree to disagree and speak are minds when we feel the need too!
