It is impossible to keep up with this thread!
Will the t3 tanks work with a single coil pro tank coil?
I have 4 yrs worth of these single coil heads and looking to add to my tank selection.
BTW rebuilding is not an option for me.
Yes the T3S will there is also a T3D which I expect will not work with the single coils.

Er, no. Not the single coil. Can't speak to any of the dual bottom coil version.

The T3 (and MT3) coils have a smaller diameter than the PT ones. The PT ones probably won't seal properly in the T3, as they won't go down flush with the base.

But the T3 heads will work in the PT and similar.

So t3 coils fit a protank 2, but a pt2 coil will not fit a t3.
A pt2 coil will fit a sub tank mini.
This is hard to keep up with these semi-exchangable coils.
Are there any other tanks that a pt2 coil will fit, other than the evod and pt2 mini?

I have used them in dual coil aerotank and PT3 mini, just use 2 seals on the chimney.

My main setup is an RGM2 Been using them since January.

$3.32 RGM2 Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.0mL) - glass tank / 2.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The paint peels off but at that price the can be considered semi disposable. Glass and steel, only broken one in 10 months used Evod coils and using coupon code XMAS only $2.99

PT1/2 coils will also work in the Davide versions of the same, although 2 parts of those need to be removed if they're the "newer" versions for DBCs. No tools required. (Well, maybe a toothpick for the white rubber "grommet.") And the "mini" versions of all those.

Also work in the Hypertank. And I imagine others that are made for the "old" single bottom coil Kanger type heads, but those are all I have direct experience with.

I suppose I am late to the Kanger brand of tanks and coils so I have not lived through all the iterations of what goes with what. Because the Cerotank is ambidextrous (aspire & Kanger) I can live quite happily with just using the aspire side of things, I understand all their versions and what goes with what.

In the past few days I have counted over 20 different iterations of these kanger coils (authentic and clone) all with nuance differences that can result in something not working properly. My frustration arises because I really don't like feeling a novice all over again. So I am going to ignore that side of the tank (head in the sand) and maybe the pixies will magically fix it over night :p

I ignore the entire matter very well, by using only rebuildables. :D Coils I make, *always* work. :thumb:

I will be doing exactly that. I don't care about the actual coil but the coil head needs to at least fit in the first place.

Kanger coils never worked for me. Completely tasteless, seems I'm vaping fizzy club soda. My Davide is sitting here, waiting for something to come up. As for Aspire original BDC coils, I've always had wicking issues, even with 60/40. I'm sticking with Nautilus and the new Triton coils.

Hey, at least you know the difference between single & dual coils! Some people that sell Vape Gear, think if it has the Kanger Coil look(Skinny stem, wick on the side) it is a standard Bottom Coil that works in ALL tanks that take that style! lol
I feel dumb even trying to explain this haha

I should mention that I have all my vaping options working brilliantly and this is not a case of nothing to vape. I was trying to look at all the variables and encounter this one problem that would have been interesting to solve. It's not going to happen and its a waste of time and energy. So happy to drop it

Yup I have lots of tinkering to do with things I already have and understand.

Currently playing with revive cartos, naturevape cartos and Aro coils, the Sophia v2, tensioned SS coils and in my spare time making drip tips.
