Your current mods would work fine for tootling along, although you might want to build closer to, say, 1.8 Ω for the mech.
I'm partial to "earlier" KFs, myself, rather than the V4. While it's true you only need to tear the KF4 all the way down for first use and (probably rare) thorough cleaning, from what I've read around here it's not significantly better. YMMV, of course.
And while the P3 connector is a lot more stable than the 510, many of the KF clones are as well made and as good a performer as the original - and catching the right sales, you could have 8 or more... redundancy is a good strategy for the looming deeming and other restrictions...

Then I said that it was important to me as it got me off cigarettes and is a hobby of mine. She then said that it's far from what can be called an hobby.
Then I told her that it's about the same as her hobby for painting fake nails and preparing for christmas etc (she does a lot of that). And she said "that is more of an hobby! I want to have a job doing that!"
Then I responded with that I'd very much like to work with something vaping related as well.
And we have argued (friendly at least) about that since [emoji14]
When I think of it, if it was an possibility, I'd love to make a living out of something vaping related.

I think her feeling that it isn't important, and her lack of interest in switching from smoking to vaping, is all of a piece. But what seems more disturbing is a SO telling her SO that something which matters a great deal to him, isn't important. I don't share my husband's interest in coin collecting, and sometimes I have to rein in his spending to something closer to reality (what the budget can actually support!), but I would never tell him it's not important -- it's important to HIM, and I like for him to be happy -- which makes it important to me.

Agreed. Hubby likes model building. I have no interest, but let him take over the guest room with his "stuff" even though I would have liked to have had a sewing room. I can manage, however. And I like him to be happy and doing something he likes. Meanwhile I have the hobbies of crochet and vaping..and he's always supportive of that...even when he sees me accumulating more and more yarn...and more and more vape stuff....
