Well - It's been awhile since I posted here and actually have something to add to the conversation . . . So - I thought I would stop by to let people know that there are a few things that I have been interested in and evaluating from the perspective of an Old School "Tootle Puffer" Perspective . . .

One of them has been the innokin iSub Apex tank, which I did a kind of review on earlier this month and posted here:

Hopefully, Ya' will take a look and find what I wrote interesting enough to comment on and even provide some feedback, especially since I have gotten a hold of a few other of the New Innokin Products that are - IMO - geared towards "Tootle Puffer's" NEEDS & wants that I am also in the process of evaluating . . . Up soon will be "My" impressions of the Endura T18 (been using this one for the past few days now) . . . Than - The Disrupter/33000 Cell Curve, the New CoolFire IV +, and - NOW WAIT FOR IT . . . the NEW Clapton BVC coils & maybe the Nickel 200 Coil (a little more than leary of these since they are .5 oHm coils) . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

It appears I'm gonna get stuff in the totally wrong order...

1. Mods
2. Kanthal and wires
3. Batteries.

And long time inbetween those.

It's annoying! Got the evic vTC and it looks so smooth in white and black. Getting a subtank mini white on it for a full on storm trooper look. Can't wait

I've talked to my SO btw. I compared my hobby in vaping and that I'm soon getting into rba as well, with her interest (mostly at the nail designs of her, she "styles" her friends nails as well). And we got to an agreement. I said that I may come with some jokes about hers, but that I respect that it's her interest and I understand why she likes it and that I hoped that she did the same to my interest/hobby in vaping.

So we solved that "issue" calmly and easy. Feel better about it now.

I told her about temperature control as well, and different wires and she got pretty interested. I said that nickel wire is what is used by many in TC. Then she told me that she actually is allergic to nickel. Who would've thought! And we had a little conversation about similar things and she seemed interested in hearing about it and questioning.

So aaalll good now :)

I did read that review -- outstanding job! I have to say, if I had any interest in going back to blisterpak coils, or any kind of tank, I'd give it a try, based on that review; you made it sound VERY attractive to those of us who prefer a tighter-draw, less-vaporous vape.

I read somewhere that nickel is the most allergenic metal to humans that is in common use as a "base" metal. I think I may be allergic to it, too; it's often used as an alloy in 10k gold, and my high school class ring, 10k gold, turned my skin completely black, and kinda itchy -- the "gold" frames on a pair of glasses I once had did the same, giving me a "raccoon" look, with the black half-circles under my eyes. :D

Glad you got it resolved with her! :thumb:

I gave her a necklace once, in silver (no fake). And she had a reaction on that and can only use it on special occations, else she'll be blue all around. Maybe it's nickel in that or something similar. She's not allergic to silver.

Yes, I am happy for that as well. Removes a lot of tension. She has a thing for rather getting louder and angrier, rather than sitting down, discuss and both tell how they feel, then come to a solution or agreement which I want. That's pretty annoying, but she is getting better at it.

We have a lovely life together, and whatever is broken, we will try to fix. There's far too many who get apart from each other because of a few arguments instead of fixing what is broke. I mean, what's the point with love if you're not even willing to fight for it?

Andria ... After looking at this video, I have no intentions to vape on any Ni200 coils.

In fact, one of my regulated mods I use is an Eleaf 'iStick TC60W' ... This mod is capable of Temp Control for both Ni200 and Ti coils ... I just use it in the Watt mode and use Kanthal for all my coils. I am completely satisfied with using good ol' Kanthal coils and could care less in using the Temp Control mode.

That video is full of misinformation and has been dissected in the forums here, it basically boils down to he is an idiot who owns a vape shop in PA and has no idea of what he is talking about.

There is a reason the comments section of that video has been disabled.

My husband and I have a very successful marriage, over 28 yrs now, over 29 yrs cohabiting. Sometimes we get very loud and irate with each other, but those things are usually just irritable mood, and the other is a safe target -- stuff that we really differ on, we get past the initial hollering and sit down and discuss, till we hammer out whatever it is. Sometimes it may take some hollering in the first instance, letting it pass, then later discussing in a more reasonable frame of mind and tone of voice. I'd say the most important ingredients are, 1) willingness to make the effort to reach resolution, and 2) picking your battles -- not everything is worth a big discussion or even a shouting match. There are things that my husband does that annoy the hell out of me, and I'm quite certain the reverse is also true -- most of those are really not worth having a big scene about -- the ones that are, we make the effort to resolve in a grown-up manner, because we love each other and care about our relationship. When I was going thru my godawful depression/PTSD/peri-menopause phase 10-12 yrs ago, we even went to couples therapy, just because we DO love each other, but realized that sometimes love is not enough when problems are really big, but we didn't want our relationship to go away just because I was having serious emotional problems and he was having a hard time dealing with it. The willingness to fix, to change, to grow, *together* really is the whole key.
