I'm not an expert by any means about this but, innokin mods use straight DC Current instead of PWM, Same as Provari's I believe, so it gives a more consistent power to the atty and stays smooth. Someone correct me if I worded or am wrong about this please! :)

Mine didn't fully die, but it would go in and out of working, I read about a Fix for it, but was to afraid to try it at the time so I just had the B&M I got it from swap it out. While doing that, I ended up buying a iTaste VTR and haven't used the SVD1 other than to check that it was good to go lol. Funny at first I didn't like the look of box mods but after the VTR it changed my mind completely!

I think your memory is right on that, MC, or mine is off in the same direction!

My guess on the SVD1 is that once the fire button loses its click, it's hard to know when you're actually firing it, and too light a press results in contact bounce, so it shuts off. Irritating, but good enough for the stash box!

I know, right? We used to have a chain of shops around (not Cinnabon, but same concept - just can't remember it's name now) I'd walk in and order "Diabetes in a Box" - with extra glaze.....:facepalm:

Well I for one salute your restraint. My mom is diabetic and she eats crap like that pretty much every day -- that's her idea of a nutritious breakfast.

You mother sounds like my diabetic husband! Well..his diabetes is pretty much controlled, now. But he thinks pumpkin pie is a "nutritious breakfast" . Donuts, too.

ECF did a weird number and double posted. Oops.

Well - "My" Mother (and even an older Sister) who was diagnosed as a Diabetic back in 98', was the same - she even had a bowl (or should I say a half pint) of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream w/ Smucker's Chocolate Fudge Sauce almost every night before bed until she died at the age of 82 - 8 years ago on December 28th from 4th stage Lung Cancer . . .
(BTW: "My" mother also survived a Quintuple Bypass 10 years earlier and a Leg amputation 6 months before her death . . .)

SO - IMO - It really comes down to what Ya' chose to do to improve and/or maintain "Your" life until it is "Your Time to go . . . "Me" - I want to fend off that day as much as possible, however I know it will eventually be a loosing battle . . .

Just Sayin' . . .;)

Now - Just as as FYI: It's not that Diabetics cannot have sugar laden food or complex carbohydrates - it whether or not they really should have these foods if they want to LIVE a Better Life . . . Just Some "Food" For Thought . . . ;)

OH and I should mentioned that I am not a Mr. Goody 2 Shoes, to be perfectly honest, there are times that I do partake of a Cinnamon roll/Donut and even Ice Cream (Sugar Free of Course) - just not everyday . . .

Well.. even with my radically-slower metabolism... I still eat *pretty much* what I want... just less of it. :D In some cases... a WHOLE LOT less of it -- eggs and fatty beef just make me sick, with my gallstones, so I try to avoid those -- but egg whites, and very lean beef... I indulge moderately. :D Ditto moderately for most sweets and pastries, but blueberry muffins are like alcohol for me... I cannot be moderate, so I just don't go there. :D
