Well the PG and VG has arrived. Wife is in Canada taking care of her 87 year old mother (Hip Replacement 2nd one in 3 years) because her lovely sister who lives down the block from her Mother can't seem to find enough time!! I'm sure she'll be first in line when the time comes, if you know what I mean!

So that means the dinning room table is all mine!!! Let the mixing begin!!!

Speaking of Comcast: When I went to the ER on Sunday afternoon their internet/computers were down. Guess what? COMCAST.
We went to hubby's new specialist this morning at a brand new facility. Their internet/computers were down. Word is it might be 24 hours before it comes back up. Guess what? COMCAST.

Really glad we don't have Comcast!!!!

Eeeegads, I really would have a hissy fit about INTERNET being down! Such as when that mac truck went flying down my 25mph street at at least 40mhp and yanked our low-hanging cable line right off our house!!! And they expected us to wait TWO WEEKS for them to send someone out here to fix it! A $4.50 trip to Radio Shack fixed THAT! My husband reconnected it HIMSELF!

Today the tech put in a new cable to replace the old one, when he discovered that the tech who was here 2 wks ago replaced only the box, not the cable -- and a little headshake as if to say "what an idiot" when I said he replaced just the box. Said he also put on a new "amplifier" though that's rather more technical than I understand, about cable service. Hopefully the reception on the TV in our living room will now come in reliably instead of just when it feels like it.

And I got a 3hr nap this afternoon to make up for my miserable night and early rising.

Yup. It looks like the Chinese manufacturers are using mix and match parts. I guess since kanger doesn't make the boxes they use they same manufacturer as Eleaf

Yeah...we have Dish. We love it (prices are great, and we haven't had an increase in at least 4 years ...hope I didn't jinx it.) Trouble is: rain. We do tend to lose the signal during rain.

Our internet is with ATT. Not perfect, but we just got the new fiber-optic lines and increased speed. So far so good....and it doesn't really go down unless the modem messes up. But that hasn't happened in a long while, now. (We've been through at least 2 "free" replacements since 2010).

When me and my brother lived at our old place we had the same setup! I didn't care for the ATT DSL though, plus we were out in the country so could only get 6MBs Down, and upload was terrible.. Though our Dish was set perfect! It NEVER went out in bad storms!

I always heard that '2 wrongs don't make a right.' It's a cliche, and people tend to not really HEAR what's being said in a cliche... so I changed that one, so it would get thru to my son better, when he was growing up: "2 stupids don't make a smart." He seemed to get it, better than the "old style."
