Nope, rather too weakly. I don't know why.

So I set up the coolfire IV as she could use it (with pink glass even!). She has yet to use it, so we'll see. Figured I'd give that a shot since she never goes back to pick up her evod's.

Vapez
@Vapez I know you don't want to hear this, but honestly, I don't think your lady is ready. Until she is ready...nothing you do is going to make her ready. She has to get there herself, in her own time and in her own way. Save both you and her a lot of grief and let it go, for now.

Yep. As easily as I made the switch... if my husband had brought it home and said "try this, maybe you can quit smoking," I'm pretty sure I'd have simply pointed to my .... and advised him to kiss it. :D Actually he did bring home a disposable that a friend of his at work gave him for me to try; that was about 6-7 months before I really got interested in it. Tried it a few times, but the flavor was just ICK, and it just didn't scratch the itch the way a cigarette did. I only got interested in vaping as a way of "smoking" indoors, so I didn't have to go outside and freeze my bits off.

I'm not pushing her at all. And she wants to as well.

And we don't have all that time either, as the regulations are coming in next mat.

She may SAY she wants to... but if she really wanted to, she wouldn't keep forgetting all those Evods you keep giving her. Actions speak a lot louder than words.

Personally, my late 50's (I can see 60 if I squint) have allowed comfort in my own skin...it finally fits! I've realized simple pleasures really are what make me happy; a pocketful of longtime friends, a partner of 25 years, family.
After slugging mail 8 miles a day on foot for 33 years (retired almost 3 years ago) I'm actually enjoying going for a walk! - without the darned mail satchel strapped to my shoulders.
I don't think I'd fancy revisiting my youth. I kinda like where I am.
I second that the peri/post menopausal can be a b*tch. I remember having an a** instead of 2, vertical loaves of Wonder Bread stretching from waist to hamstrings :) The post-menopausal muffin top can prove challenging as well...where to place the underwear band? - above, below or directly in the middle of the "dough"?
1st World problems, right?
No turnin back for this gal. Right here, right now is good for me :)
So glad I found the Tootle Puffers. Y'all start my day with a smile.
Have a fahbulous day everyone!
JK

To you and to @AndriaD. I've finally gotten old enough to not give a rats XXX about what anyone else thinks of me. I am who I am - like it or not. Apparently my sister doesn't, but that doesn't phase me anymore. I have a job I love, a happy home life, a few extra rolls that really don't belong, and the calmest demeanor I've ever experienced in my 50+ years of life.

So NYAH! :pervy:

I've been a little down lately, and I've finally figured out, it's probably because I've gotten my WTA down to 1%. Think I'll stay put there for a few weeks, give my brain a chance to get used to it, before I try to take it lower -- at least at this point, I can easily see the end in sight! If I have to, before I'm totally done with it, I can get into that bottle I put away in the freezer back in the summer. But I don't think I'll probably need to; looks like maybe about 4ml left in the bottle I've been using, and since I only use .3ml in a 30ml bottle, that should last. :thumb:

O.k. on a Tootle-Puffing related topic....

I'm looking into SS wire to build coils. I understand this can be used somewhat like kanthal (although I'll ring in with lower ohms) but in my PT2s, I really like around a 1.6 ohm coil. So, I'm thinking I could still swing a good coil around an ohm, but keep it at modest power for my daily vaping?

(Yes, I womp on the weekends :D)

You've dropped your WTA somewhat "quickly" from what I remember. It hasn't really been all that long ago that you'd started around 10%?

I don't speak for anyone else but it has been my experience that the sort of person who becomes a successful vaper must be involved not just a bystander in the process. That includes choosing/buying their own gear (with your help), learning how to use and maintain that gear (they need to do it themselves to understand what's involved) and lastly they must hand over their own money. It's only then that they get what vaping is all about.....the good and the bad and they have a vested interest in the switch.

I have helped start a lot of vapers and it's hard because really you want them to succeed, but I came to the realisation that it's not your demon to deal with, you can only provide the gate you can't walk the path with them or for them.

Well it's been almost a year now since I started dropping from 10%; started first of the year. I thought I'd be done by Sept/Oct, but decreasing my nic to get ready for cold weather kinda slowed it down; I didn't want to reduce both at the same time, so I was mixing weekly 30-40ml, alternating weeks on which one I dropped. I'm now at 5mg where I plan to stay indefinitely, so I can stay at 1% WTA for a while and see if my mood improves. If not, then just before xmas I may mix a 30ml with .35ml WTA, just a hint more.

Hi DInger

I just bought some 26ga & 24ga SS316L wire. I can tell you it is an experience. I've been trying to find some info on youtube about builds but nothing really good so far. I have built dual coils which read at .4 in my new Bellus Tank and it worked well for a little while then one coil fried. So now I built a .5 coil for my SubTank Plus. It was 7 wraps on a 3.0 so it's low resistance like nichrome. I have it on a DNA40 device in temp mode at 360 degrees 22.5 watts and so far so good. But then again I don't know if this is right at all but it is vaping nicely! I'm going to ask the guru's in the mod womper room if they have any tips. If I find anything out I'll try to remember to post it, but then again I'm an old forgetful guy! :D

I installed heat sinks for both of my 2 mods (2 have yet to arrive). Should reduce the threading damages on the mods after time. And the tank seems cooler with using it as well.

Though, the evic vtc mini. The threading is not perfect. I've tighted the tank on it, but it still feels lose.
Yeah noticed that loose feel as well on my VTC Mini. So I took it apart like any techie would. Be prepared to catch parts and especially a spring if you attempt this.
The bottom of the 510 connector has a flange that slides back in a slot cast into the top of the case. It is not going anywhere. However if you so desire you could take it apart and fill the slot with high temp epoxy and reassemble it and no more wiggle. However you would NEVER get it back apart.
I think if the 510 in mine ever goes bad I can replace it with a shorty 510 base and put the flange on the replacement 510 on the top. Would just have to stretch a couple of wires quite a bit.

Do not try this at home!

Thanks @LJFinFLA. I don't build a lot of duals. Hrm. I have a couple of TC mods now, and thought I'd give that a whirl.

More info to ponder....

Well so far the single .5 in the ST RBA is working well on a DNA device. I can only imagine how good it would be on a device that does SS!

I toned down one of my accidental 18mg mixes and all is well now :) I finally found my Adv (after almost 2 and a half years and it's..... flavourless! I'd never have guessed :D
Welcome to the club! Flavorless Nic base from NN is my ADV now, two other tanks have very lightly flavored and light NET added to the Nic base. Since moving to those regular ejuice seems way too sweet and heavy, sometimes I will add maybe 1/3 or less of those to my nic base.

Really satisfied with my new batteries. Used this one for almost 48 hours.
