She may SAY she wants to... but if she really wanted to, she wouldn't keep forgetting all those Evods you keep giving her. Actions speak a lot louder than words.

Andria
She has two evod kits and I gave her my coolfire with an aerotank. She is actually going to pick the evod's up this week. Seeing progression here :)

But she has a hard time learning about how to use it, and she doesn't understand a lot no matter how simple I explain it.

Anyone has a link to a site which explains the basics and how everything works about mods, tanks, watts, volts, ohms and everything, but short and simple. If anyone do, I'll let her read it :)

I was cooking dinner. Guess what I came back to...She was vaping! And she ditched a snus for it. I call that progress!

And she told me herself that she was going to try one day with vaping and no snus.

But she thinks the flavor is too weak. I mixed it at 8% at first. Then upped to 12% and she thinks it's still too weak..

vapez, when I first started, I used 24mg, then gradually dropped to 18. For a new vaper, that's pretty common. If she's going to stay off the smokes, she needs more nic to start with.

^^^Agree...I started with 18mg (was 1 PAD smoker). Suited me well. Within a few weeks I decreased to 12 then 6. I realized I was edgey and wanted to kick the cat (not really) so I upped to 12 again. Much better. I now switch back and forth between 12 and 6. Or, half 12, half 6 giving me 9mg.

Dinger, I just noticed last night that Fast Tech now has rolls of stainless steel in gauges from 18 to 32. With 30 or 32 gauge, you could definitely rebuild your protank coils to 1.5 to 1.6 ohms, or even higher if you want. I really wasn't interested in ss when all I could find was 28 gauge - the resistance was just too low for what I would use it for. But with the higher gauges, it becomes an attractive option.

Thanks @Oregon Linda! I've seen it - just haven't decided to pull the trigger yet.

I have some "toys" I've been playing with. I suppose I should order NOW to at least get the 5% discount ;) It'll wander in next year sometime :D

I had a convo with Boden in the Womper room and he gave me some good advice with SS wire. Something I did not know is that just like titanium it's not good to glow the coil to a hot orange. It should be a light glow to form an oxidation. He also said to space the coil rather than a contact coil. I took the coil out I told you about yesterday and built a 26ga 3.0 7 wraps .47 ohm spaced coil. It made all the difference! Vape is so much better. I bought the SS for my ST's RBA but I'm going to use in some other RTA's. I just need a device now that has SS TC. If I find out more I'll let you guys know.

Thanks @LJFinFLA - I have some SS in my FT cart. Right now, 30 and 32g. Wondering if I should get some 28, too (or instead of the 32g?) I build my PT2 heads with 30g Kanthal. 7-8 wraps on a 1/16" drill bit. Lands me about 1.6ish (+/-) which is my preference with those.

I have a handful of STMs, which I'm trying to "get right". Picked up a couple of the V2 RBAs, but haven't tried anything with them yet. I have a mod that is SS TC-compatible. However, I'm not sure how zhuzhed I am with TC. I have a Ni200 coil in a tank, and I am *NOT* getting the flavor I'd get from a Nauti or a PT2. I'm almost disappointed.

Must continue to play. I'd hate to reformulate my DIY jooz :sneaky: I don't fiddle with TC that much, so I may just punt that option....

I like a 1.1 ohm 26ga 2.4 mm coil in my STM. Vapes nice on my mech and I vape at 14 on my reg mod. I try to make coils that vape nice on different devices.

Might find a build I like better but for now this works nice.

No problem Dinger. The thing I'm hoping for with the SS wire is that it can be used both in TC or Wattage mode. Makes it a little more versatile wire depending on the device. . Well that's my :2c: anyway.

PRECISELY what I'd been hoping for as well....

You could always put it in a pink and green tank. That would give you tasteless qualifying points :p

YAK! IMO, that *WOULD* qualify for tasteless

G'morning, Miss Krisma!

Anyone interested in an Aspire mech mod for $15?
The CF mods come in both built in battery and replaceable battery (18650) versions for $15 here.
Huge discounts on closeout ECIG supplies.

it is a mech mod with a button NOT on the bottom and multi click turnoff like an ego.
Not a pure mech mod since I am sure it uses a Mosfet.
