Yea my wifes desktop was running Win 7 and it ran like a champ. My sons laptop was running 8.1 and had no problems. My puter was several years old using Vista and was out dated so I needed a new one. Bought this laptop from Costco on a great deal but it had 10 loaded on it already so no choice for me. Hate having to wait for Microsoft to fix it when it should have been done from the start!

I'm still a little unclear as to what makes a Tootle Puffer and the criteria to either being one or not, is it just a simple matter of whether or not you take straight lung hits or does your gear figure in the determination as well. Easier and much quicker to ask than read the 1k pages on the subject.

Here's my style, am I a TP ?
4.5 years vaping
Mouth to lung hits
24mg strength for 4 years, now using 18 and it's likely where I'll stay
4 Kayfun Lite's and Kanger Subtank mini, all built to between .7 & .9ohm's
Using SX Mini M class, IPV D2, VTC Mini, VF Lite and Zero Mini in route.

Nothing on my computer is loading, Since I bought my new laptop with Windows 10. Worked fine for the first couple of weeks but not since the last update. It seems to cut out my internet connection when ever the heck it feels like. Something about missing protocols. I've checked online and it seems there was a bug when they first introduced 10, they fixed it, and now with this new build it's back. Happening on both laptops and the desktop. It's the reason I haven't posted as much since I get dropped constantly. I'm not a happy camper with win10 right now!:-x

All I have had is problems since I built this system.

•if you’re into vaping for vanity
•maybe if you’re showing off your .001Ω build running 185watts
•if it’s about ‘cloud compititions’

then probably not a tootle-puffer
- - -
into it to NOT smoke, maybe some hobby
(some say 5-20w/.5-2.0Ω)

more-than-likely a tootle puffer

then there is a few that go both ways :D

Got me as to the qualifications. But a warm Welcome to the Tootle Puffers thread.
Hang around with us a while.

I updated 4 computers to Windows 10....the 2 that had 8.1 went great. The 2 that were on Windows 7 were miserable....couldn't get Windows Updates to work at all, spent hours pouring over forums trying to fix. Finally gave up and wiped them totally and did a fresh Windows 10 install, and they were fine. Luckily I didn't care about any data I had on them.

Definitely to NOT smoke, the day my Green Smoke cigalike arrived over 4 years ago I quit a 40 year 1.5-2 packs a day habit and it's definitely become a bit of a hobby, I have a mechanical background and enjoy tinkering. I have about a 23 watt max and don't compete in cloud comps.

I'm guessing I'm more a TP than not...that's all good with me, will say though, it's always fun to let one of those cloud comp boys take a rip of my 24mg juice and watch um turn green, always makes me laugh.

I'll be hanging out for sure Robert, thanks.

We also have a Modwompers thread that is nice to hang out in. A mix of Tootlers and mild to moderate wattatge types over there.

then there is a Back Porch and a Front Porch. Nice folks. The back Porch is more socializing and less vaping and the front porch is supposed to be primarily vaping related but it is somewhat flexible on the socializing as this thread is too.

The wicking problem turned out to not be an issue. I just take less frequent hits and/or take a few drags without firing as soon as I notice it getting a bit dry or before.

Clock is ticking at 4am. Still haven't able to make any sleep.

My girlfriend and daughter moved out two days ago because of my mother. I've been here alone since then and thought maybe a couple days alone and doing whatever I wanted to would make me feel better. At best, it made me feel worse.

I'd like to visit a psychologist and give it a new shot. I reckon back in the day, I went to one. Instead of actually trying to help me, I had to take many tests and all the focus was on giving me a diagnosis. This was many years ago, and I stopped going there after a couple months as it just made me feel worse. Plus it costs a lot of money.

Me too. And I'll keep using it until microsoft and companies stop supporting it. I just can't stand the look of win8+. And they're annoying me with the free win 10 upgrade..

If you care more about how it feels and tastes going IN, than how it looks coming out...

You may be a tootle puffer... :D (thx to Mr Foxworthy for the terrific format!)

And I drool in envy over your Sx Mini M Class... I'm hoping we might be able to afford one of those for my 2 yr no-smoke-a-versary in July. :D

I use whatever OS is already on whatever well used machine I get when its predecessor quits.

This one has W7. Was on Vista for a year or two before this and was on XP forever prior to that.

I vape the same way. That SMOK SID still won't die...
