You will never see me in Flip flops either.
My beach and boat footwear is some of those mesh slip ons.

You guys are hilarious. RL feet problems are the worst thing. After a life spent in heels it took years to be able to wear flat shoes on a regular basis. I found Birkenstocks and fell in love with the feel (clogs for winter and toe sandals for summer)

You have it ruff!
It's 35 degrees Fahrenheit here and I hate cold weather. I have been after the wife to move down there during the winter, but she says "what about my job and our health insurance " yada, yada.
I keep telling her she needs to get her priorities straight that I hate cold. She's a little stubborn sometimes.

When driving is FUN

Now strap on a dual mail satchel and that was me working in the winter months. I'd slip and slide my way up & down over 350 driveways. The worst was trying to regain my balance by doing "the windmill"...and receiving only a 4.5 from the Russian judge.

Does this lead to a conversation of the age when you feel the need to go to elasticated waistbands :p

I will admit in a hushed voice that I love elasticated waist bands

Expanding feet, expanding waistlines! Gravity has a nasty way of showing up as we age! :D

I accept your challenge of fire ants and I give you our local nasty the innocuous sounding hopper ant. This little bugger is about 3/4 - 1 inch and they leap at you when threatened. Their sting is as nasty as a bee sting and I still have a scar on my arm from a bite many years ago.

No thanks. I can't stand all these insects. No afraid of them. They're just a damn nuisance! Black Widows are abundant here. Don't want that bite for sure!
