I hate you this morning for that comment!! Im Freezing!! :p

Likewise. When I read that, I was thinking, "Bite me!" I slept till 12:30, because it was so dang cold I couldn't force myself out of the covers! And at 1pm when I finally let the cat out, it's barely over the "acceptable" temp for her -- I won't let her out till it's over 40 degrees; it's 41!

I dont realy like spiders either but my cure was the wife is terrified of them as she got bit by a brown recluce when young .

so she freaks out when she see,s any spider

when living in the UK we were going on a fishing trip when a spider must have crawled out of my fishing pole bag and she freaked i was driving and had to just grab the thing and put it out the window how i didnt crash i still dont know

but since then i just got used to them and just pick em up and put them out

not to sure how i would feel doing it with a realy big tarantula tho

Does this lead to a conversation of the age when you feel the need to go to elasticated waistbands :p

I will admit in a hushed voice that I love elasticated waist bands

I want the entire pair of pants to be stretchy! Or I'm just not comfy at all!!! But unlike those people at Walmart... I wear long shirts, or tunics. Yeah I know, I dress like a granny. I've always been more concerned about comfort than style. :)

some of those Walmart people

do them youtube vids come from just my neck of the woods AR or is it all over the US

all i can say is there are some creepy people about

It's all over. It's a sad fact that people over a certain age or poundage really shouldn't wear spandex... unless they're wearing some garment over it, to hide the bits that NOBODY wants to see. Thus I wear long shirts/tunics... I'm only about 15 lbs overweight, but mid-50s, and gravity is NOT kind. (I've still got great legs, but the rest... FUHGEDDABOUTIT!!!) :D

We've had a creepily warm winter here in CT so far (Christmas Eve was high 60's), so today was a shock. I had an appt. at 10 am, and the temp had gone up from a low of 9 early this morning to 16. I had to warm up my car for a bit, but still had the window open so my vape wouldn't freeze on the window. LOL

I was told a couple of days ago by someone I'd just met (friend visiting my neighbour) that I had fantastic legs - talk about making my day :D

We stayed warm all thru xmas, some rain, though it was dry xmas day, then after xmas it started to rain again, but it was chilly, not really cold -- think it was the tailend of that Goliath monster. Then right around new years it started cooling off -- I was out there watching the amateur fireworks shows up and down my street, it was 45 degrees, but humid and a pretty stout breeze blowing, so I got pretty cold. Then right after that, bang! Freezing nights; went down to 20-something last night. But every night we have like that, makes me a do my little dance that I don't have to go out there and freeze to smoke a cigarette. :D That was the motivation that got me to vape in the first place, and it STILL applies!

My genepool hit the lottery on my legs -- from the father's side, I've got "big" legs... but from my mother's side, LOOOOOOOOONG legs... so their "bigness" just translates to great curves. It's really the only part of my body that still looks good, so I do wear "leggins"... with my long shirts/tunics to cover my middle-aged buttocks. :D

That's the BEST!!! Vaping in my room whenever I want, no smell (unless it's a delicious dessert flavor vape smell), and no shivering out in the cold garage puffing on my burning death sticks. LOL

I wish I had long legs - then I'd be taller (which I've always wanted to be) :D
