Sorry I don't own one. I do own some innokin mods and if the light is green you should be good to go. I suggest you make friends with the manual to get things down. :D Oh and congrats on your new toy!!
Thanks, LJ.

Ohhhh, I'll be perusing the manual for sure :) Already had a look through it and nowhere does it say to charge it right out of the box. Unless I missed something.

Can't wait to get it up and running!

Cheers

Aaaaand we're off to a blazing start.

I decided to go ahead and put a tank on the CF4 and give it a try. Yep, it worked :) Then I decided to fiddle about with the v/w button as it was in voltage mode and I wanted it in wattage mode. Press, press, fiddle, fiddle - DANG! - burnt the coil. It was a new one just changed too. Oh well, live and learn. Realized I was still pressing the fire button while trying to hit the + / - button.

I do like it though. ..the new CF4 not the burnt coil..

Cheers

You may want to only do light discharges at first.Don't deplete the battery very much the first few times you use it.Kinda break the battery in lightly,if that makes any sense.

New Mods are always nice :)

Thanks sorrynomore, I welcome any and all advice :) (it's my first mod)

With my ego ONES, I've never let them run down all the way...halfway, then charge 'em up. No real reason, just kind of never want to be without I s'pose.

Any particular reason for breaking in a new battery gently?

hey GREAT ! got your new vapin' unit

smaller than you thought, huh ? (everybody sez that) :p

that thing has been 'ran thru' all it paces, just use it and test everything works
    what color ?
holding BOTH buttons shows 'puff counter' & 'Batt V remaining' (hold it to long screen flips over)
3 clk OFF/ON will reset the puff counter to Zero again

good luck, have fun, let us know how it's going...

    Okay T-Puffers,

Just came home with my brand new CF4! It's my first mod so I'm super excited and nervous...a wee bit of a learning curve :)

I read somewhere that even straight out of the box, the unit should charge for about 4 hours. Is that right? The battery display looks to be telling me it's fully charged. Huh?

When I first turned it on (bottom button) and then pressed the button 3x I noticed the fire button light came on (very briefly) and it was green.

Also treated myself to a new tank - a nauti mini. Yep, I'm pullin' out all the stops ;)

So I guess what I'm asking is should I be charging it even though the battery display/picture looks like it's fully charged?

I hope I won't need to ask a kazillion more questions!

    Thanks loads!

sorry for the delay been a little busy
feeling very old now and getting called grandad does not help LOL
if you want to put it on charge you can when fully charged the illuminated fire button light will go out and it will stop charging when fully charged

charging port can also be used as a pass through meaning you can vape it while charging if you dont have a back up mod

It probably came with 60 - 80 % charge. Have some other Innokin gear, and the green light means it's above X% charge, varies a little by model. You won't hurt it by using it prior to its first charge, just won't get a true indication of vape time until you do, though.

    Hey Puff!

    Thank you for chiming in.

It actually feels bigger in my paw than I imagined it would. But then again, I'm only used to eGo ONES. Perhaps I have dainty hands (yeeeah, no).

It's r-r-r-r-ed! So purdy! I think I'm going yo really like it. Just have to find my sweet spot. Started as low as I could - 6 watts. I'll slowly increase the wattage once I switch over to the nauti mini I bought today. My PT2'S tasted a bit burnt when I upped the wattage to 7.5 but those coils are 2.2's...I'm assuming (?)that might be the reason.

Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated!

    Cheers

Thanks so much for your comment gadgetkeith. I think I'm slowly figuring it out. Thankfully I have 2 eGo ONES for back-up. They're both 7 months old now. That's one of the reasons I bought the CF4 - wasn't sure how much longer they'd last :)

    Thanks again!

I feel much better reading this. I was so excited when I brought it home I didn't want to screw it up by charging when I shouldn't. It seems fine. I'm fiddling with it and have just attached the new nauti mini I bought today as well. I've been saving for months (cutting out Starbucks :) ).

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my (somewhat panicked) comment.

    Much appreciated.

You can charge it whenever you like really, it will cut off before the battery reaches an unsafe voltage anyway, just vape it till it runs out and then charge it back up.
I will say something though, don't use for example a Samsung charger, I have know peeps use their phone charger to charge it up and then it stops working, those phone chargers deliver too higher amp to the battery.

The polishing shop guy said that the Stout was such a high quality SS that he doubted it would look much different after polishing. It is a little more shiny but yeah, not much.. Gooooooood Mod

Look how the naughty Super Tank mini has scratched the top, it's only noticeable in the picture though and my new tank should cover it anyway but my OCD was like....ahhh man..

Somebody wanted a comparison between the VF Stout and the CF4, sorry I forgot who it was.. So here it is..

Ohhhh - good to know. I wondered about that so I'm using the micro USB that came with the CF4 and my Joyetech wall adapter. Good?
