I have a noob question...
I'm thinking of buying some 30 gauge ni200 wire to make a few coils with.
Question is can one use temp mode with a .15 ohm nickel coil and tootle,or should I just give up before I start? I like really cool vapes. (40 some years of smoking cigarettes did a number on my lungs)

Cool vapes? Easy A subtank mini with 1.2 ohm coil at 12 watts.
or a GS Air2 tank with a 1.2 or a 1.5 at 10 watts or so.
Also a 40+ year smoker who likes cool vapes.

sorry on the TC, I don't do that. May someday and may never although I do have a couple of mods that will do TC.

As long as your TC mod is happy with that resistance, why not just go ahead and try? TC is going to adjust the power delivered to hit your set temp, so it will possibly exceed tootle numbers, but if you wind up liking the vape, well, then you like the vape, and we won't disown you. ;) If you don't like the vape, you're out the cost of the wire, and could pif it on.

Well you can run TC that way if you wish. Because your going to set a certain temperature that you don't wish to Vape over. But at .15 ohm you 'll be running higher wattage to reach your temp, than if you even went with a .5 or .75 Coil. Since you really seem to want flavor and a cooler vape.
Just a thought
