Wow, wow and a 3rd wow, T-Puffers. A suitcase full of thank-yous to Kat and Krisma (the Special K's) for planting the seed for this question and starting the discussion. It's a real page-turner.
Having only 7 months of vaping under my belt, my list is short:
2 eGo ONES (1100 mah)
2 PT2's (2.2 ohm coils are my favourite)
1 PT mini I've yet to use
1 Coolfire 4 with Nauti Mini (1.8ohm)..also use the PT2's on it
I haven't used the eGo ONE tanks since acquiring the PT2'S. The eGo ONE replacement coils didn't last long enough and were problematic (I don't yet wrap my own) and I found the tanks didn't hold enough juice and were difficult to see the juice levels.
I'm really enjoying my new CF4/Nauti mini now that I found my sweet spot.
I rotate all 3 devices all day long; never using one all day.
I'm finding I like simple and small devices; maybe b/c I'm still new and feel like the more complicated the more that can go wrong.
I'm on a strict budget so I tend to peruse vape gear online, save the searches and start saving. I also try to search for tanks where I could use the same coils (PT2'S /Nautis?)
I'm very comfortable with the PT2'S; I like the draw and feel like I know them well enough now to troubleshoot.
I'm blathering on like a magpie.
I hate to sound like a broken 33 1/3 but I'm so grateful for this thread and the folks on it. I had no idea when I joined ECF how much I would learn, laugh and "like".
You. All. Rock.
Cheers
JK
Thanks Mr. Flakes, I'll check it out!![]()
What are the rules for if anyone sends you vape gear. Does it get stopped or will it be delivered to you.
Totally agree with Kat. Love ya!...are you just kidding ("jk")? Juskiddin![]()
@juskiddin
This might sound a bit odd coming from me who likes to tinker and experiment but this is for tootle puffers. Being a tootle puffer gets you a lot of vape for very little outlay. Most of the gear we like is old school and found in clearance and bargin bins. You are not chasing the latest greatest, cloud chuckiest gear. You need some simple options that are fuss free have some longevity (replaceable coils, batteries etc) look at things that people are still using 2 years after they were released and that deliver nicotine vape to you consistently and reliably. Once you decide what those simple options are........get lots of the exact same thing. Parts are interchangeable and you don't have to worry about failure.
Kat beat me to the post
Ms. Magpie,
Eventually you might want to also consider a device with a swappable battery, some good quality/high rated batts and a charger (or two). All your current devices have internal batts and as such, will eventually die off.
Something like the Heatvape Defender (a personal fave) is a good little (very little) mod, and has the advantage of behaving as an internal battery mod (it has USB charging as an option).
The Little Itty Bitty thread is a great place to find several options.![]()
They only have red and purple in stock but it's still a bargin at 70% off plus a forum discount code 8%
You can always buy a set of clear glass tubes from Fasttech.
Hey Mikey. How's RIXY?![]()
Great advice!Ms. Magpie,

*blushing*Totally agree with Kat. Love ya!
Very sound advice, Dinger. You're right - 1 bite at a timeJK:
+1 on the bargain bins. There is a lot of stuff that is getting cleared out because so many want "bigger, faster, moar powrful"
+1 on the replaceable battery mods. I started with VV3s and MVP2s. Those are great mods, but I needed moar power and longer battery life (because I have a "Sybill-like" style of vaping)
When people ask for recommendations, I always start with "form factor" - do you want a "Stick", a "Tube", or a "Box"? Then, do you want internal or replaceable batteries? Personally, I'm leaning toward replaceables these days because it's a little less expensive to grab a couple new batteries (that I can use across different mods) than to buy a new "dedicated" mod.
If you need replacement glass for your PT2s, I have a TON of it. All my original clears plus a small assortment of colored glass (as I prefer the colors these days....)
Just remember - how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. If you start to feel overwhelmed, take a step back. Go back to basic questions and that should help you refocus.
Cheers!
I'm Ok honey bee, just finished my ironing and waxed my chest, going to sit down in a bit and watch some Ugly betty...ow get me xxx
On a straight note, I was sooooooooo drunk last night, I can't even remember posting that, I almost feel sorry for @MikeyConti ......almost, I never knew my little joke would attract so much attention.
