I'm a rootin' tootin' Tootle Puffer ProVari 2.5 lovin' vaper. Every since a grand prize raffle winner of of the standard size matte silver ProVari 2 1/2 yrs. ago 6 days into vaping and finding out for sure my "cool happy place" is in Low Wattageville, my non-smoking, non-vaping engineering hubby insists on buying special occasion mini ProVari presents!

Just think how many special occcasions happen in 2 1/2 yrs. Ha! I have the Emerald Green too.

I watched your video interview - that was so awesome! You have a lovely hubby - fabulous that he's so supportive

I think these will be all I'll need. I have a swath of other vaping options. Only thing I'll probably snag are the ring covers to even out my full-sized Nautis. It's not bad as is, but I think I'd like a streamlined look with the bigger tank.

I've a good friend here who has been strongly encouraging that I get a Provari for several years. I resisted...primarily due to the price and also because it was so over-hyped. I'd seen many "Provari vs. (fill in the blank) Wars" here, and elsewhere. The whole thing seemed so over the top it kind of made me dig in my heels harder. I've lots of wonderful devices I've accumulated over the past 5 years, and really didn't feel any real "need" for a Provari. But with the vapocalypse a possibility (and assuming ProVape will continue to be around to honor warranties and repairs) my friend leaned on me to at least invest in a used one, or an older model one. I told him I would...and when the $30 opportunity came up, it seemed an opportune time to made good on my word. Green is my favorite color ...so it seemed logical to take the step I did. (I admit that I almost got the pearl white...I love white mods). I'm okay with it. I still would not buy a tube Provari at full price. I have considered trying to save for the Radius (but suspect I won't.) The 2.5 is a nice device....I like the one I got so far! A bit retro, but it works fine. Still...it's probably not only my first...but my last Provari.

So now that I bought one of these babies, what tank will look good on my pearlized 2.5? I didn't buy one of those flat things. Will my cerotank or nauty mini fit flush, or do I need a 22 mm tank for it. I'm slightly OCD about "hang over" and things not looking flush.

Hubby has been very supportive....... and my vaping has made his shopping for a present a breeze. Ha! He loves that part of vaping. Most of the ProVari's weren't bought at full price. Would accumulate points in my ProVape account and wait for a 10% sale which would also apply to the "specials". Just bought the Blue Lagoon and Sangria PV's on this sale for wedding anniversary......He got away cheap on this one!

Fourth, whatever makes you happy with vaping just do it. Although I've got to say, I've got a bunch of higher wattage mods too, but found was more comfortable at the lower settings.......but I did try. I'm just tickled that everyone can find what pleases them.

Pokemom, your Cerotank and mini Nauty will do fine without the "beauty ring". It's the full sized Nauty or any tank that has that diameter that needs the ring such as the Subtank mini as well.

Indeed! I agree! I'm a confirmed Tootle Puffer who never strays above 8 watts. There's no end of devices for folks like us to choose from! The trick now is to find ones that give us a bit of wiggle room on the LOW end...I like it when the device will go down to 5watts ...just for the wiggle...but 6watts is okay. Those that start out at 7watts...um. No. Too limiting! hahaha!

I love that you and your hubby have worked out such a great system. You can be sure of always getting a gift you'll like and be able to use for years! Me? I end up with seriously "interesting" things, but I tell myself "It's the thought that counts!! Remember...it's the THOUGHT!"

Cerotank is narrower...it looks fine though. I use a GS M which I think is 19mm and it fits perfectly. Don't have any nautys...so don't know about them.

All this business with the Provari got me thinking about my other tube mods in my vape stash. I hadn't really even looked at them, to speak of, since 2013. I have discovered I have 3 SID heads (black, silver & gold), 3 eGo T heads and 1 Evic easy head, all in good working order. A nice selection of assorted tubes in different colors and sizes. I am not presently counting my older box mods, e-pipes, mechanicals, built-in battery devices, or my squonkers. I also have a pile of 18650s and 18350s (both flat top and button top). Unfortunately I don't appear to have any 18490s....so I'll have to score some of those. Of the batteries I've tested so far, they are all working fine. They will eventually need replacing, but for now they're a go. Since I do not vape high wattage or very low ohms...I should have no problem with these PVs.

I'm really jazzed. The SIDs are great. The menu isn't that hard to figure out (the Provari was harder), and they looks awesome. VV/VW...battery level checker, other bells and whistles. The eGo Ts are fine...admittedly the newer model head with the wider top is the nicest of the bunch, aesthetically. The Evic is nice too....I'd pretty much forgotten I'd bought it because right after I committed to the eGo passthroughs (which I stayed with for 2 years).

My vapocalypse stash is even better off than I thought! I'm actually in pretty darn good shape! I DIY my juice and my supplies are doing fine. I'll have to get more nic...but plan on that next month. WooT! Add my Provari in the mix of replaceable battery mods, I'm feeling good!

SID's are nice reliable mods, ask @jaytex1969 ! They are setup the same/similar way as a Zmax and such.. I had one a long time ago, but idk what happened to it!! Local MadVapes sold those things like crazy!!

Yay-y-y-y, Fourth! You're doing super in the vapocalypse department! I haven't been vaping long enough to have forgotten I've got something in my stash. Ha!

BTW, we've been married way long enough and now retired....way long enough, to have learned it's much easier to let each other select their own gifts. I no longer can figure out what kind of tool hubby needs for his workshop, and he no longer can figure out what size I wear......since it changes so often. Ha!

Just looked at the Provari site - the 2.5 minis are still (again?)on sale for $29.95. Even with the Canadian exchange I'm thinkin that's still a good deal (?).

I haven't ventured into exterior batteryland but at this price I'm tempted. I'm drooling over the pearl white.

Is it too advanced for a newb? Am I simply getting swept into the provaritalk on the thread?

I'd need batteries as well...not sure which kind. Feel like I'm starting all over again like 7 months ago. Eeeeeeek!

No idea what the shipping cost would be.

I got one 6 days into vaping, justkiddin; so definately NOT made for any "advanced" vaper. Ha! Not only will you need external button top AW batteries, but also battery charger. Shipping I can't help you with 'cause I always manage to meet their $99 free shipping.

I think I got a little caught up in the excitement of the group talking about their Provaris. As much as I'd like one, I think it's best to hold off for now. By the time I add batteries, a charger and exchange rate on the total it's just not in my near future.

Just to cover yourself if the "Ban" hits us, pick out a mod YOU like that takes replaceable batteries, preferably 18650's and then you can start at your own pace from there. Get some batteries, wait a little bit and get a charger, and so fourth.

Not sure what I was thinking. I'm puttin' the Provari purchase on hold fer now. Sometimes I get ahead of myself and it takes my common sense and practicality a minute or two to catch up with the thought of something new.
