you're just kidding, right?
A few years ago the idiot population of Ohio decided it was in our best interest to put a smoking ban in the State of Ohio's Constitution for public places. It is best left up to the owners of the establishment to decide whether or not they wish to have a smoking policy or not. It was a blatant disregard of property rights.
Fortunately I know of a little bar that closes it's doors to the public at a certain time. They have a great selection of food and a nice tap selection. Ohh let's not forget about their flat screens and humidor of a decent selection of cigars.
If you wish to read the law please find it hear or you can find your own source.

Let me highlight their definition....
"
Section 1.
3794.01 Definitions.
As used in this chapter:
(A) "Smoking" means inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, or other lighted smoking device for burning tobacco or any other plant. "Smoking" does not include the burning of incense in a religious ceremony."
Now one can argue the definitions of "lighted", "burning tobacco" and "burning tobacco". If it comes to the courts to decide, I have lost my faith in the courts and "American Freedoms".
Since the new law was challenged by some organizations of the state, the Ohio Supreme court still up held its constitutionality.
Even for 30 years when I smoked, I went outside after dinner. The only places I freely lighted one was a bar or outside. Not because I was hiding or ashamed that I smoked. It was because I respected that others may not want smoking around them. As you have every right to do as you wish within the confines of the law those people around one have their right to be free of it.
