Bull .... the trustfire is a FUSED battery. It wold simply shut off, and you would have to remove the battery from the mod for it to reset itself after each hit. Provided that it didn't go thermo. 4 amp Lithium Cobalt batteries don't do well at 130 amps.
Back in the day, those "Fire" batteries were our 'best choice'. So some of us have a fair amount of experience using them. So trust me on this one, an ICR battery would never fire a paperclip coil. If you were lucky, the protection ckt would catch it, but more than likely you would instantly have thermal runaway.
They're "protected cells", so in any case they won't let you go that low with the resistance.
But, you're right about on thing, they'd go from room temperature to +100c in a millisecond.
